Magyar Testgyakorlók Köre is a multi-sports club from Budapest, founded in 1888. It has sections for football, handball, basketball, volleyball, futsal, ice hockey, water polo, cycling, gymnastics, athletics, fencing, canoeing, boxing, wrestling, swimming, rowing, karate, taekwondo, sailing, speed skating, skiing, table tennis, tennis and chess.

Veszprém KC is a Hungarian handball club from Veszprém, that for sponsorship reasons is called Telekom Veszprém. Veszprém plays in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I and are the most successful team in the country, having won the Hungarian Championship a record 26 times and the Hungarian Cup title a record 24 times. Veszprém has also won the regional SEHA League three times.

Hungary has participated in all 17 editions of the FINA World Aquatics Championships, held since the first edition of 1973 World Aquatics Championships, winning 97 podiums, including 38 world titles, 29 silver medals and 30 bronze medals.
