Samuel "Sammo" Hung Kam-bo is a Hong Kong actor,martial artist,film producer and film director,known for his work in martial arts films,Hong Kong action cinema,and as a fight choreographer for other actors such as Kim Tai-chung,Jackie Chan,Yuen Biao,and Yuen Wah. Throughout the 1980s,he was part of the "Three Dragons" along with Chan and Biao;the three starred in six Hong Kong films together.

Even though he was considered an expert in the Hung Ga style of Chinese martial arts,his real public fame was as a physician who practiced and taught acupuncture,Dit Da and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine in the now famous Po Chi Lam,a medical clinic in Canton (Guangzhou),Guangdong Province. A museum dedicated to him was built in his birthplace in Foshan,Guangdong.

It stars Jackie Chan,Hwang Jang-lee,and Yuen Woo-ping's real life father,Yuen Siu-tien. The film's plot is about Chien Fu,an orphan who is bullied at a kung fu school,meeting an old beggar,Pai Cheng-tien,who becomes his sifu (teacher) and trains him in Snake Kung Fu.
Ten Tigers of Canton or Ten Tigers of Guangdong refers to a group of ten Chinese martial artists from Guangdong Province lived around the 19th century during the Qing dynasty in China. They were said to be the greatest fighters in Guangdong during the Qing era. Much of their existence has been embellished by folk legends and stories passed down from generation to generation.

Dance of the Drunk Mantis is a 1979 Hong Kong kung fu comedy film directed by Yuen Siu-tien's real life son Yuen Woo-ping and written by Ng See-yuen and Lung Hsiao. It stars Yuen Siu-tien,Hwang Jang-lee,Linda Lin,Yuen Shun-yi,Charlie Shek and Yuen Kwai. This was Yuen Siu-tien's final film appearance before his death on 8 January 1979. The film was released theatrically in Hong Kong on 27 June 1979.
