"So Damn Beautiful" is the debut single from British singer-songwriter Poloroid, real name Danielle Rowe. It was released on 29 September 2003 in the UK, and peaked at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart.
"So Damn Beautiful" was written by Rowe with two former bandmates, Lee Milleare and John Horrocks. [1] It was first brought to the attention of nightclubs after British disc jockey Dave Seaman included it on the mix album Global Underground 012: Bueno Aires in 1999. Because of this attention for the song, Rowe was invited to perform a live set for BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza. [2] As well as interest from the clubs, the track was also used in the UK as part of soundtracks to various victories of the England national football team, such as their 5–1 defeat of Germany in 2001 and their 1–0 victory over Argentina in 2002. "So Damn Beautiful" was officially released by Telstar Records in the UK on 29 September 2003, in a radically remixed form by trance DJs Dogzilla. The song was playlisted on BBC Radio 1's C list [3] and received airplay, where Australian singer Holly Valance expressed a like for the song on The Chris Moyles Show . [4] "So Damn Beautiful" peaked at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart [5] and number one on the UK Dance Chart [6] – it was Poloroid's biggest chart hit. [7] It was also used in the episode "Nanette Babcock" of the American drama Nip/Tuck [8] and was included on the soundtrack album Nip/Tuck: Original TV Soundtrack . On reviewing the album, UK-based website musicOMH described the track as "lovely" and called it "a truly haunting song". [9]

"Jump " is a song by American vocal group the Pointer Sisters, released on April 11, 1984, as the third single from their tenth studio album Break Out (1983). The song hit the Top Ten in Billboard's Hot 100, R&B and dance charts, and it was the best-selling American dance single of 1984, sold as a trio of songs including "I Need You" and "Automatic". The song scored global chart success.
"Long Hot Summer" is a song by British all-female pop group Girls Aloud, taken as the first single from their third studio album Chemistry (2005). The song was written by Miranda Cooper, Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania, and produced by Higgins and Xenomania. "Long Hot Summer" was written for inclusion in the Disney film Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005), but plans fell through. Higgins later described the track as "a disaster record." Released in August 2005, it became Girls Aloud's first single to miss the top five on the UK Singles Chart.
"Here " is the lead single from Hellogoodbye's debut album, Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! (2006), released on August 8, 2006. The song peaked at number fourteen on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum in the United States. The song was released in the United Kingdom on April 13, 2007, peaking at number four on the UK Singles Chart. It also entered the top 10 in Ireland, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

"Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" is a song by the English rock band the Smiths, written by singer Morrissey and guitarist Johnny Marr. The song was first released on the group's 1987 album Strangeways, Here We Come. Marr's music features a larger sound, courtesy of a 12-string Gibson ES-335, and one of his few guitar solos with the Smiths. Morrissey's lyrics allude to alcohol and deception.

King's classic "Stand by Me". The song is about a boy who feels “suicidal” over being unable to be with a "beautiful girl". It is Kingston's signature song.
"Big Girl " is the fourth single from the debut album Life in Cartoon Motion of singer Mika. It reached number 9 in the UK charts after it was released on 23 July 2007. It was inspired by, and written for the Butterfly Lounge, the first Size Acceptance nightclub in Orange County, California. The club is mentioned specifically in the lyrics "Get yourself to the Butterfly Lounge. Find yourself a big lady", and is now their theme song. A B-side of the single is "Standing in the Way of Control".

"The Promise" is a single by British-Irish girl group Girls Aloud, taken from their fifth and final studio album Out of Control (2008). The song was written by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania. Influenced by Phil Spector and music of the 1960s, "The Promise" is an upbeat love song. Upon its release in October 2008, the single became Girls Aloud's fourth number one on the UK Singles Chart, continuing their six-year streak of top ten hits.
Dogzilla were a British electronic music duo. The group had four major releases between 2003 and 2008, and was composed of Simon Patterson and Richie Kayvan, both based in London. They are most famous for their single "Without You" which charted in numerous countries, including Finland where it reached the number 11 spot. The song also appeared on many respected compilation albums such as Dave Pearce Dance Anthem Classics and former world #1 DJ Paul Van Dyk picked it as his track of the year. Their eponymously titled debut was featured in the 2004 film, 'The Football Factory'.
"I Am Not a Robot" is a song by Welsh singer Marina and the Diamonds from her debut studio album, The Family Jewels (2010). Poloroid is a former stage name of Essex-born singer-songwriter Danielle "Dan" Rowe, best known for her 2003 single "So Damn Beautiful". Originally referring to a trio, the name "Poloroid" was adopted by Rowe for her solo material in 2001, following the death of her bandmate John Horrocks. Her song "So Damn Beautiful" was featured on compilation albums, such as Global Underground 012: Bueno Aires, and was also used in the soundtrack to an episode of American drama Nip/Tuck. After her record label, Telstar Records, was dissolved in 2004, Rowe retired the "Poloroid" moniker and formed a new band named No Silence.

"Wherever You Are" is a song written by Paul Mealor and performed by the Military Wives Choir, sung by ladies from Chivenor and Plymouth under the direction of Gareth Malone. It is a spin-off of the BBC Two television series The Choir: Military Wives. It was released on 19 December 2011 following a campaign to make it the 2011 UK Christmas number one. The song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 1, claiming the Christmas number 1 – selling more than 556,000 copies in the week, more than the rest of the Top 12 combined. The song also claimed the status of the biggest first week sales since "A Moment Like This" by Leona Lewis sold over 571,000 copies in its first week in 2006. The song was included on their debut studio album In My Dreams.
