'Somatina probleptica' is a moth species in the family Geometridae, subfamily Sterrhinae, and tribe Scopulini. It was first described by entomologist Louis Beethoven Prout in 1917 based on specimens collected in 1910 from Panyam, Bauchi Province, Nigeria. The holotype male and paratype female are preserved at the Natural History Museum in London. This species is primarily found in Nigeria, with additional records from Côte d'Ivoire, indicating a distribution within West Africa. [3] [4] [5] [6]
