Sonny Jay Muharrem (born 30 June 1993) is an English radio presenter and singer. As a member of the boy band Loveable Rogues, he was a finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 before beginning a career in radio presenting. From 2018 to 2022, he co-presented on Capital Breakfast . In 2021, he won the thirteenth series of Dancing on Ice . Since 2023, he has presented The Capital Late Show .

Career

As a musician he was known for being a member of the group Loveable Rogues who reached the finals of the sixth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2012, and subsequently signed a record deal with Simon Cowell's record company Syco Music. [1] [2] As a radio presenter he presented Phoenix FM from 2015 to 2017 before moving to Capital FM in 2018. [3] He co-presented Capital Breakfast alongside Roman Kemp and Vick Hope (later Sian Welby), until he announced his departure in December 2022, when he announced he would be leaving to take over Marvin Humes' slot on The Capital Late Show every Monday to Thursday, he started in January 2023. In 2021, he won the thirteenth series of Dancing on Ice partnered with Angela Egan. [7] [8] [9] He was also a contestant on The Chase: Celebrity Special in December 2021. [10] [11] In 2022, he appeared on Celebrity Mastermind . [12]

Personal life

Muharrem became engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Faith in August 2020. [13] They later separated in 2022, stating that they wanted to focus on their careers. [14] [15] Muharrem is in a relationship with Danielle Peazer and in January 2024, they announced that Peazer was pregnant with the couple's first child and was later born on May 8, 2024. It was later revealed as a girl and they named her Mia Muharrem. [16]

Dancing on Ice is a British television series currently presented by Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby. Former hosts include Phillip Schofield, who hosted from 2006 to 2023, and Christine Lampard, who hosted in Willoughby's absence from 2012 to 2014. The series features celebrities and their professional partners figure skating in front of a panel of judges. "What a Night" is the debut single by British band Loveable Rogues, released in Ireland and the United Kingdom on 19 April 2013. The band were dropped from Syco in October 2013, but the single was featured on their debut album This and That, released in 2014 on Super Duper Records.

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The twelfth series began airing on ITV on 29 August 2015 and ended on 13 December 2015. The thirteenth series of Dancing on Ice debuted on ITV on 17 January 2021. During the finale of the twelfth series, it was announced that Dancing on Ice had been renewed for another series. The series was once again filmed in the purpose-built studio at Bovingdon Airfield, which had been set up for the tenth series. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby returned as hosts, while Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Christopher Dean, and Jayne Torvill returned as judges.

Tyler Mark West is an English television and radio presenter and DJ. He began his career presenting various shows on CBBC and currently presents weekday afternoons (4-7pm) on Kiss FM. In 2022, he became a contestant on the 20th series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Molly Anne Rainford is an English actress, singer and television presenter. She was a finalist on the sixth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2012 and was one of the presenters on Friday Download between 2014 and 2015. She has since released two extended plays and has gone on to portray the titular character in the CBBC comedy drama series Nova Jones from 2021 onwards. In 2022, Rainford competed in the twentieth series of Strictly Come Dancing; she reached the final and finished as a runner-up. In 2023, she was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Anna Knight, as well as continuing to release music.
