Soundtrack to Your Life is the debut studio album by American singer Ashley Parker Angel. It was released on May 16, 2006, by Blackground Records. Following the 2003 disbandment of Angel's band O-Town, he sought to gain more credibility as a musician. Angel began to adopt a more mature image as a rock artist opposed to the previous pop music recorded by the group.

On August 5, 2021, Blackground Records announced on Twitter that the album will be available on streaming services on September 24, 2021, for the first time. [1]

Singles

The first single from Soundtrack to Your Life was "Let U Go", released to US markets on February 26, 2006. It debuted at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100, eventually peaking at #12. It was certified Gold on June 1, 2006. The follow-up single from the album was the title track "Soundtrack to Your Life".

Joanna Noëlle "JoJo" Levesque is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows as a child. In 2021, the label rebranded as Blackground Records 2.0, reviving its company and catalogue onto streaming services, with a partnership with Empire Distribution. It co-operated with a publishing company founded by Hankerson, named Black Fountain Music.

O-Town is an American boy band formed from the first season of the reality television series Making the Band in 2000. As of 2015, the group consists of Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, and Dan Miller. The original line up included Ashley Parker Angel and Ikaika Kahoano, who was replaced by Miller after dropping out of the group.

Headstrong is the debut studio album by American singer Ashley Tisdale, released on February 6, 2007, by Warner Bros. Records. Tisdale began working on the project after the first installment of High School Musical (2006). Tisdale described her work on the album; "…I didn't really know who I was and I was trying to figure out who to do. I now am way more comfortable in my own skin." The performer worked with a variety of established writers and producers on the album, including Diane Warren, J.R. Rotem, Ryan Tedder, Evan "Kidd" Bogart, Bryan Todd and Kara DioGuardi, among others. In a reference to a famous commercial, in March 2001 Arena Magazine called the team "probably the best R&B producers in the world".
