The Southeast Asian Beach Handball Championship is an international beach handball competition contested by national teams from Southeast Asia.

History

The first edition of the championships [1] which featured two separate competitions for men's and women's national teams was held in Dumaguete, Philippines at the Rizal Boulevard. [2] The championships held from November 3 to 6, 2017, [3] were organized on a short notice with Thailand and Vietnam invited to participate. Vietnam won both the inaugural men's and women's championship. [1]

Mae Soriano is a Filipino karateka. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's kumite 55 kg event at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea. She also competed at the Asian Games in 2006, 2010 and 2018.
