Space Shower Music Awards (old name: SPACE SHOWER Music Video Awards, abbr. to SPACE SHOWER MVA) are an annual set of music awards sponsored by Japanese Space Shower TV. [1] The prizes have been awarded since 1996. [2]

Dragon Ash is a Japanese rap rock group founded in 1996 by Kenji "KJ" Furuya and Makoto Sakurai. They were one of the first groups to popularize hip hop in Japan. Dragon Ash is a member of Mob Squad, which is an affiliation with the bands Source and Endive. Dragon Ash uses the French fleur-de-lis as their band logo/symbol.
Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Yokohama in 1996. For its entire career, the band has consisted of vocalist Masafumi Gotoh, guitarist Kensuke Kita, bassist Takahiro Yamada, and drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi. Starting out as a college band, Asian Kung-Fu Generation released a series of independent EPs featuring lyrics mostly sung in English. In 2002, they released their major-label EP debut Hōkai Amplifier, from that point singing their lyrics in Japanese. The band's musical style is influenced by seminal Western alternative rock acts as well as their own local Japanese indie rock and punk scene. Their songs incorporate various aspects of the genres, most typically expressing fast tempos and prominent power chord guitar riffs in addition to rhythmic groove and emotional lyrics. Despite the indie nature of their music, the band has enjoyed worldwide commercial success in addition to critical acclaim. Asian Kung-Fu Generation has been cited as one of the best, most balanced modern rock bands to emerge from Japan in the 2000s.
The discography of the Japanese girl group Morning Musume consists of sixteen studio albums, five compilation albums, and seventy singles. Ever since its establishment in 1997, the group has experienced frequent line-up changes, and currently consists of twelve members: Mizuki Fukumura (leader), Erina Ikuta (sub-leader), Ayumi Ishida (sub-leader), Sakura Oda, Miki Nonaka, Maria Makino, Akane Haga, Reina Yokoyama, Rio Kitagawa, Homare Okamura, Mei Yamazaki and Rio Sakurai. Radwimps is a Japanese rock band who debuted independently in 2003 and signed with Toshiba EMI in 2005. The band's name, Radwimps, was formed from two English slang terms, "rad" and "wimp". According to the band, the coined word had several meanings, including "excellent weakling" and "superlative coward".

"Kimi to Iu Hana" was ranked at 3rd on fans request for band's 10th anniversary live setlist on September 14, 2013.
"Rewrite" is a song by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as the third single of their second full-length studio album, Sol-fa, on August 4, 2004. In 2016, they re-recorded "Rewrite" along with all songs from Sol-fa and released on November 30, 2016.

It was released as the second single of their fifth studio album, World World World, on November 7, 2007, nearly a whole year after the release of the album's lead single. The title track, described as a "classic winter ballad", is used as the theme song for the PlayStation Portable game The 3rd Birthday. The single was released as a standard CD release and a limited edition CD+DVD bundle. "Rescue Me" and "Prima Donna" serve as the single's B-sides. The DVD included with the first pressings of the single features an "Official Bootleg Live DVD" of Superfly's performance at the Monster Bash 2010 music festival on August 23, 2010. "Eyes on Me" has since been nominated for the 2011 Space Shower Music Video Award for best female video.
"Rollin' Days" is a song by Japanese rock act Superfly. It is a digital single from the band's third studio album Mind Travel. The song itself is featured as the theme song for the Japanese drama BOSS. "Rollin' Days" reached the top of the iTunes Store charts, peaked at 11 on the Japan Hot 100, and at 7 on the RIAJ Digital Track Chart. Superfly's vocalist Shiho Ochi wrote the lyrics while former guitarist Kōichi Tabo composed the track with Koichi Tsutaya arranging the song.

The channel launched at 6:00 on December 1, 1989. Initially limited to cable viewers, it began broadcasting using Japanese communication satellites in mid-1992.
