Srikanth or Sreekanth is a common Indian first name. Śrīkaṇṭha in Hindu scriptures is primarily an epithet of Vishnu. Sree refers to the Hindu goddess, MahaLakshmi and kanth in Sanskrit means husband or consort. Thus, Sreekanth or Srikanth refers to Vishnu, the consort of goddess Lakshmi. Vishnu is one of the members of the trinity of Hindu gods. Brahma creates life, Vishnu preserves it and Shiva destroys it.

Meka Srikanth is an Indian actor who is known for works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has appeared in more than 120 films. The actor has received one state Nandi Award, and one Filmfare Award South. He has starred in films like Swarabhishekam, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for 2004. Srikanth's another film Virodhi premiered at the Indian panorama section, at the 2011 International Film Festival of India. Sri Rama Rajyam also had a special screening at International Film Festival of India on 28 November 2011. He has also appeared in some other language films including Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films.

Operation Duryodhana is a 2007 Indian Telugu political thriller film, loosely inspired by the 2005 sting operation of the same name. The movie was written and directed by Posani Krishna Murali starring Srikanth in lead role. The movie was a box office success, and Srikanth earned a nomination for Filmfare Best Actor – Telugu for his portrayal in the movie. The film was remade in Tamil as Thee. It was also dubbed into Hindi as Operation Dhuryodhana. An unrelated sequel to the film, Operation Duryodhana 2, released in 2013 under the direction of Nandam Harischandra Rao with Jagapathi Babu in lead role.

Jathi Ratnalu is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film written and directed by Anudeep K. V..
