The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kerry GAA, is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. It is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kerry, and for the Kerry county teams.

Michael Joseph Galwey won an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with the Kerry Gaelic football team in 1986, as a 19-year-old, before turning to rugby union. He is thus the only winner of an "All-Ireland" in both rugby union and Gaelic football. He also holds County Championship medals in Senior, Junior and Minor grades. His nickname 'Gaillimh' comes from the name of Irish town Galway, in the Irish language.

Séamus 'Moosey' Scanlon is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Currow club, the St Kieran's divisional team and the Kerry county team. He first came on the Kerry senior scene in 2002 under the management of Páidí Ó Sé. However Scanlon failed to establish himself as a regular until 2007 due to serious competition from William Kirby, Eoin Brosnan and Tommy Griffin. Since then he has started regularly in midfield, winning the Munster Senior Football Championship and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Kerry. He has won 3 All-Ireland medals in 2006, 2007 and 2009. In recognition of his efforts during the 2009 championship, he was awarded with an All-Star. Scanlon had become the senior midfield figure for Kerry since the retirement of Darragh Ó Sé in 2010.

Pádraig Reidy is an Irish Gaelic footballer, who has played with the Scartaglin club and the Kerry county team.

The East Kerry Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association caters for 13 Gaelic football clubs and 1 hurling club in the East Kerry division of the GAA county of Kerry.

Rathmore is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Rathmore, County Kerry, Ireland. Together with 12 other football clubs they form the East Kerry Division of the GAA county of Kerry Notable players include Paul Murphy, Shane Ryan, Aidan o' Mahony.

Scartaglin is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Scartaglen, County Kerry, Ireland. Founded in 1964, the club fields teams in the East Kerry Division of the GAA county of Kerry. Players from the club also play in the Kerry Senior Football Championship with the divisional side St. Kierans.

The North Kerry Senior Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition for GAA clubs affiliated to the North Kerry Football Board, a division of Kerry GAA. The official name of the competition became The Bernard O'Callaghan Memorial North Kerry Senior Football Championship in 2000, in honour of the late Bernie O'Callaghan (Beale) who was Chairman of the North Kerry GAA Board for 25 years and did a huge amount of work for North Kerry football.

The Championship runs from October to December each year but has on occasion continued into the New Year due to replays and postponements. It is currently sponsored by McMunn's Bar and Restaurant, Ballybunion.The current (2023) holders of the cup are Ballydonoughue who defeated St. Senan's, winning the competition for the 10th time in the club’s history.

Ballincollig GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the town of Ballincollig, County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated with the Cork GAA board and plays in the Muskerry divisional competitions. In 2009, the club will participate in the Cork Senior Football Championship and the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship.

John McGlynn is an Irish Gaelic footballer with the Currow club, the St. Kieran's divisional team and was a member of the Kerry county team. He first came on the Kerry senior scene in 1998 in the National League under the management of Páidí Ó Sé. McGlynn established himself as a regular for the 1999 League & Championship, despite winning the last 3 Munster Championships Kerry lost out to Cork in the final. He missed out on Kerry's All Ireland success in 2000. He played his last championship game in the 2001 semi final when Kerry were well beaten by Meath. He won an Munster 21 championship in 1996

Shannon Rangers is a North Kerry Divisional Gaelic football team in County Kerry, Ireland, based around the Shannon Estuary. Founded in 1940, the team compete in the Kerry Senior Football Championship, which they have won on 5 occasions. They also won the inaugural Munster Senior Club Football Championship in 1964.

The 2014 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 114th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The championship ran from 24 May to 2 November 2014.

The 1996 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 96th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The draw for the opening round fixtures took place on 26 February 1996. The championship ran from 14 June to 20 October 1996.

The 1998 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 98th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The draw for the opening round fixtures took place on 24 February 1998.

The 1900 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 10th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. It was the first championship to be completed since 1897.
