Stoke Extinguisher is an EP by NOFX released on November 26, 2013 through Fat Wreck Chords. The EP was released as a six-song CD and a two-song 7". Both versions feature the new title song, "Stoke Extinguisher", as well as "The Shortest Pier", which was originally by Tony Sly and was recorded for The Songs of Tony Sly: A Tribute . The rest of the songs on the CD are b-sides collected from singles from the band's recent album, Self Entitled , [3] although it does not include the alternate version of "She Didn't Lose Her Baby", the b-side from the "My Stepdad's a Cop and My Stepmom's a Domme" 7". The cover was hand painted by Jason Cruz of Strung Out. [4]

NOFX American punk rock band

NOFX is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. Vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin are original founding and longest-serving members of the band, who have appeared on every release of the band, although Sandin departed briefly in 1985 only to rejoin the following year. El Hefe joined the band in 1991 to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up.

The CD version consisted of only the 18-minute title track, but the vinyl included a different version of "Clams Have Feelings Too" on the B-side. The Decline is largely a satire of American politics and law, with an overwhelming concern for blind behaviors of the masses, such as complacency, indifference, gun violence, drug-use, and conformity, as well as destruction of constitutional rights, and condemnation of the religious right. Although the lyrics are somewhat disjointed, they all refer back to the unifying theme of the "decline" of America. The trombone is played by Lars Nylander of Skankin' Pickle.

Anthony James Sly was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, best known as the front man of the punk rock band No Use for a Name. In his later years he also gained attention for his acoustic solo work, with two acoustic split albums he released with Lagwagon front man Joey Cape and two solo albums.

The band was formed by twin brothers Ray and Brandon Carlisle, following the dissolution of their previous band, Homeless Wonders. The band's music is heavily influenced by guitarist and co-vocalist Kody Templeman's other band, The Lillingtons, and punk rock acts such as Ramones, Screeching Weasel, Green Day, The Bouncing Souls, and Misfits; Their music has been referred to as "Ramones-core", "Weasel-core" and "leather jacket punk".

No Use for a Name

No Use for a Name was an American punk rock band from San Jose, California, United States formed in 1986 by Chris Dodge (guitar), Steve Papoutsis and Rory Koff (drums). The band's sound evolved considerably through its career, starting off as a Bay Area-influenced punk band, moving on to a much heavier metallic-tinted sound to finally taking on a much lighter brand of melodic punk as the years passed. The band's career ended in 2012 following Tony Sly's death on July 31 of that year.

The EP was recorded in a basement in Omaha, Nebraska in 1987 by Dereck Higgins and consists of never re-recorded songs of NOFX. It was also available as a deluxe package in limited edition color vinyl with a hardcover copy of NOFX's book The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories and a NOFX towel. The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories was eventually released in April 2016.

Ribbed: Live in a Dive is an album by American punk band NOFX; it is the band's third live album and the eighth installment of their Live in a Dive series. Released on August 3, 2018 by Fat Wreck Chords, the album is a live presentation of their songs from the 1991 studio album Ribbed. The album was recorded in 2012 from their concert at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles.
