Strigamia japonica is a species of soil centipede in the subfamily Linotaeniinae, a clade formerly known as the family Linotaeniidae, ^[3] but now deemed a subfamily within the family Geophilidae. ^{[4] [5]}

It has been found in Taiwan, ^{[1] [2]} Japan ^{[1] [6] [7]} and the Korean Peninsula. ^{[1] [8]}
