Deep Jwele jai is a 1959 Indian Bengali-language film directed by Asit Sen. The film is based on Bengali short story titled Nurse Mitra by Ashutosh Mukherjee. It was remade in Hindi in 1969 by Sen himself as Khamoshi. Before that it had been remade in Telugu in 1960 as Chivaraku Migiledi.

This was the first movie of Vinod Khanna as Hero. This was also debut movie of Danny. The film stars Meena Kumari, Vinod Khanna and Shatrughan Sinha in lead roles along with Deven Verma, Paintal, Asit Sen, Asrani, Danny Denzongpa, Keshto Mukherjee, A. K. Hangal, Dinesh Thakur, Mehmood and Yogeeta Bali. The music of the film is composed by Salil Choudhury.

Kapalkundala is a 1933 Bengali social family film directed by Premankur Atorthy for New Theatres Ltd. Calcutta. The film starred Umasashi, Durgadas Bannerjee, Manoranjan Bhattacharya and Molina Devi. It based on Kapalkundala, a famous Bengali novel written by Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay in 1866. This was the second remake of Kapalakundala, the first being made in 1929 by Priyanath Ganguly. The film was made three more times: 1939, 1952, 1980. The film did well celebrating a run of twenty-five weeks.

Sathi is a 1938 Indian Bengali film directed by Phani Majumdar and produced by New Theatres. It was the Bengali version of Street Singer and the film was the debut of Phani Majumdar as a director. The film's cast includes K. L. Saigal, Kanan Devi, Boken Chatto, Amar Mullick, Sailen Chowdhury, and Shyam Laha. The story involves two young street children growing up together, singing on the streets and hoping to make it big in the show world. The film was one of Saigal's "most famous films" and a "classic" as far the music and songs of the films were concerned. The music was composed by R. C. Boral with lyrics by Ajoy Bhattacharya.

Netaji is a Bengali biographical soap opera on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose that premiered on 14 January 2019 and aired on Bengali GEC Zee Bangla. Based majorly on Udyata Kharga Subhash by Achintya Kumar Sengupta and produced by Surinder Films, the series stars Abhishek Bose in the eponymous role, with Basabdatta Chatterjee, marking her comeback on television, Dhruvajyoti Sarkar, Kaushik Chakraborty, Sriparna Roy, Debopriyo Sarkar, Sohan Bandopadhyay, Fahim Mirza appearing in other recurring roles. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting of the series was stalled. It was rumoured that along with Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, this series will be axed the channel. Putting rest to such rumours, the shooting started from June 11, maintaining all safety protocols and fresh episodes started to air from June 15, 2020. The series started to air on 11 PM from July 7, 2020, giving space for another series Kadambini to be aired in the 08:30 PM slot. The show went off air on 1 August 2020. The show is dubbed in Hindi and currently forecasted on And TV.
