Sugley is an area of Newcastle upon Tyne adjacent to Lemington in the county of Tyne and Wear, England: [1] its parish church [2] is Holy Saviour, [3] Sugley. [4]

History

Sugley was formerly a township in the parish of Newburn, [5] in 1866 Sugley became a separate civil parish, on 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Newburn. [6] In 1931 the parish had a population of 1769. [7]
