Suicide Estate or Suicide Estate Antibiotic Armageddon is an EP by JK Flesh, a moniker of English musician Justin Broadrick, and was originally released on February 27, 2016 through Hospital Productions as a cassette. [1] [2] Since then, the EP has been rereleased numerous times in different formats, ultimately culminating in a widespread digital release in February 2017, and a double LP in November 2017. Each edition features a different tracklist. [3]
An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. EPs generally contain a minimum of four tracks and maximum of six tracks, and are considered "less expensive and time-consuming" for an artist to produce than an album. An EP originally referred to specific types of vinyl records other than 78 rpm standard play (SP) and LP, but it is now applied to mid-length CDs and downloads as well.
JK Flesh is a moniker of English musician Justin Broadrick employed for his solo work within "heavy" or "brutal" electronica music. Broadrick's usage of the title spans back to his work in the 1990s with Kevin Martin in Techno Animal, but he first released a solo studio album as JK Flesh in 2012. Unlike Broadrick's most well-known projects, Godflesh and Jesu, his work as JK Flesh is electronic and lacks metal riffs. Over the years, the project has shifted into a more minimal and dub sound while retaining its industrial influences.
Justin Karl Michael Broadrick is a British singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer. He is best known as a founding member of the band Godflesh, one of the first bands to combine elements of extreme metal and industrial music. He was briefly in the English grindcore band Napalm Death when he was a teenager in the mid-1980s, writing and recording guitar for Side One of Napalm Death's debut album, Scum. Broadrick has also maintained a parallel career as a producer, producing records and remixes for groups such as Pantera, Isis, Mogwai and Hydra Head labelmates Pelican. Since 2012, he has been releasing hard techno music under the solo moniker JK Flesh. Broadrick has set up record labels such as HeadDirt, Avalanche Recordings, Post Mortem Productions, Lo Fibre and Heartache.
Originally, Suicide Estate was released on February 27, 2016 as a single 4-track cassette on Dominick Fernow's record label, Hospital Productions. This version was limited to just 44 copies. [4] A double cassette version with new artwork was released on the same record label in April 2016. This version was limited to 66 copies. [5]
Dominick Fernow is an American experimental musician, poet and multimedia artist. On February 20, 2017, nearly a year after the EP's original release, a revised version of the EP known as Suicide Estate Antibiotic Armaggeddon was released digitally through Justin Broadrick's own record label, Avalanche Recordings. This edition was remastered and includes three new or remixed tracks. [4] On November 1, 2017, yet another version of the EP was released again under the title Suicide Estate and again through Hospital Productions. [6] This version came as a double LP, a blue double LP limited to 250 copies, and a CD. This version also features different artwork than the other releases.
Avalanche Recordings is an independent record label, founded by English musician Justin Broadrick in 1999. It is named after Broadrick's own recording studio, Avalanche Studios, and mainly releases Justin Broadrick's side projects.

The English industrial metal band Godflesh have released eight studio albums and six extended plays along with a number of singles, compilations and remix and live albums. The group formed in 1982 under the name Fall of Because, but they did not release any music until 1988 when Justin Broadrick and G. C. That EP, released through the independent label Swordfish, was met with underground success and has since been recognised as one of the first industrial metal releases, if not the first.
