Summit High School is a high school serving Summit County in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, United States. About 1,500 students attend the school from the surrounding mountain towns of Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Summit Cove. Summit Middle School, located in Frisco, is the only feeder school for Summit High School.
The high school is located 75 miles west of Denver, between Breckenridge and Frisco, near the Farmer's Korner housing subdivision. It sits at an elevation of 9,050' (2,758m).
Timothy Ridder serves as the school's principal and Brittny Acres as the assistant principal.
Summit High offers AP, IB, DP, and college-level courses through Colorado Mountain College.
The high school has a variety of sports offered not limited to but including: rugby, lacrosse, football, basketball, swimming, wrestling and track and field.

The Swan River is a short tributary of the Blue River, approximately 10 miles (16 km) long, located in the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado in the United States. The river drains a mountainous area in the upper basin of the Blue River in southern Summit County. It rises in three short forks along the continental divide in the Arapaho National Forest east of Breckenridge. It descends through a narrow valley to the west, joining the Blue from the east approximately 5 miles (8 km) north Breckenridge, along State Highway 9 between Breckenridge and Frisco. The valley of the river was historical site of mining camps during the late 19th century, with many remains of early camps and mine tailings remaining along the canyon walls.

The Tenmile Range is a mountain range in U.S. state of Colorado. The range is an extension of the Mosquito Range which is part of the Rocky Mountains. The two ranges are effectively the same range. They are split only by the Continental Divide and name. The Tenmile Range is on the north side of the divide, and the Mosquito on the south. She is known for her work on the United States reality television series So You Think You Can Dance, having appeared on the show every year since the third season, and Dancing with the Stars. She choreographed the 2016 film La La Land and has also worked on commercials and various musical productions such as Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour. She has created dance numbers for the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Emmy Awards, and Grammy Awards ceremonies. The 13,376-foot (4,077 m) thirteener is located 6.3 miles (10.2 km) east-southeast of the Town of Breckenridge, Colorado, United States, on the Continental Divide separating Pike National Forest and Park County from Arapaho National Forest and Summit County. The mountain was named in honor of Arnold Henry Guyot, a Swiss-American geologist.
Belle Turnbull was an American poet from Colorado. In 1938, Turnbull received the Harriet Monroe Memorial Prize from Poetry Magazine. She published two novels, one in verse and one in prose, as well as two volumes of poetry, Tenmile Range in 1957 and Trails in 1968.

A Democrat, she represents the 13th district, which includes the counties of Chaffee, Grand, Jackson, Lake, Park and Summit, including the communities of Salida, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Frisco and Buena Vista. Prior to 2023, she represented the 61st district, which included the counties of Lake, Pitkin, Delta, Summit, and Gunnison.
