Supercard of Honor IX was the 9th Supercard of Honor professional wrestling live event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH), which took place on March 27, 2015 at The Sports House in Redwood City, California.
This professional wrestling event features eight professional wrestling matches, which involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that played out on ROH's television programs. Wrestlers portrayed villains or heroes as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.
Talent from New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), with whom ROH has a talent exchange agreement, also appeared at the event.
At 13th Anniversary Samoa Joe returned to Ring of Honor in his first appearance since 2008. Samoa Joe came out and cut a promo laying claim to the ROH World Heavyweight Championship, challenging World Champion, Jay Briscoe in the process.
On March 28 addition of Ring of Honor television, The Decade members B. J. Whitmer and Adam Page came out to the ring and cut a promo on Steve Corino making it seem like they wanted him to join them. When Steve grabbed the mic. and said he would not join the Decade, Whitmer said, we weren't talking about you. They then point to Corino's son, Colby Corino. Colby gets in the ring and joins the Decade. Jimmy Jacobs ran out and tried to neutralize the situation and ends up sending The Decade out of the ring. He proceeds to comfort Steve Corino, signaling the end of Jacobs' alliance in the Decade.
Jacobs announced on Twitter that he will be on the creative team for WWE. This was Jacobs' last match in ROH before departing for WWE.

Steven Eugene "Steve" Corino is a Canadian semi-retired professional wrestler currently signed with WWE as a trainer and producer for their developmental territory NXT. He is best known for his tenure with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1998 to 2001 and Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2002 to 2006 and 2009–2016.
Christopher Scoville is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs currently works for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a member of the creative team and as a producer. He is best known for his 12-year career in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a five-time World Tag Team Champion. He has also worked for WWE as a writer.
Benjamin Whitmer, better known by the ring name B. J. Whitmer, is an American professional wrestler, producer, trainer, color commentator. He is best known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a four-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. Whitmer was last employed by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a coach until June 12, 2023, when his employment was terminated following an arrest for domestic violence.

Final Battle 2010 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on December 18, 2010, at the Manhattan Center in New York City. It was the eighth annual event in the Final Battle chronology, with the first taking place in 2002, but only the second to be broadcast live. It was the fifth ROH event to be shown as an online pay-per-view.
S.C.U.M. was a villainous professional wrestling stable in the promotion Ring of Honor. The stable was originally formed by Kevin Steen, Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs. On March 2, 2013, the number of members in the group grew predominantly, with the agenda to take control of ROH. The stable was disbanded on June 23, 2013, after losing to Team ROH in a Steel Cage Warfare match.
The Decade was a villainous professional wrestling stable in Ring of Honor, last consisting of B. J. Whitmer and Colby Corino. The name "Decade" was chosen because all three original members of the stable had been associated with Ring of Honor for ten years when the group was formed, each having debuted in 2003 and remained there since.

Jamin Dale Pugh, better known by his ring name Jay Briscoe, was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his time with his brother Mark Briscoe as the Briscoe Brothers in Ring of Honor, where he was a two-time ROH World Champion, ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion, and record 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. Other championships held by Briscoe over his career include the Impact World Tag Team Championship and IWGP Tag Team Championship. He was inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame in 2022.
Mark Pugh is an American professional wrestler best known as Mark Briscoe. He is currently signed to Ring of Honor and its sister promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He held the ROH World Tag Team Championship with his brother Jay Briscoe a record 13 times, was one third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Jay and Bully Ray, and alongside Jay was an inaugural inductee into the ROH Hall of Fame.

It was the 13th annual Supercard of Honor event and took place on April 6, 2019, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The event was streamed live on Honor Club, New Japan Pro-Wrestling World, FITE TV, and broadcast live on traditional pay-per-view outlets. It is the final Supercard of Honor to be produced under Sinclair ownership.

It was the fourteenth event in the Supercard of Honor chronology, and the first edition since the G1 Supercard in 2019; 2020's planned Supercard of Honor XIV was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also ROH's first live event after a three month hiatus following Final Battle in December 2021, as well as the final event under Sinclair Broadcasting Group ownership.
