Supercard of Honor XI was the 11th Supercard of Honor professional wrestling pay-per-view event [2] produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Lakeland Center (Jenkins Arena) in Lakeland, Florida. With an attendance of 3,500, the event set a new ROH attendance record. [3]
This professional wrestling event featured professional wrestling matches, which involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that played out on ROH's television programs. Wrestlers portrayed villains or heroes as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.
Through partnerships with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), wrestlers from those two promotions also appeared on the card. NJPW wrestlers Jushin Thunder Liger and Yoshi-Hashi were originally scheduled to take part in the event, but were forced to pull out due to visa issues. They were replaced by Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa). [4]
Keiichi Yamada, better known as Jushin Liger and later Jushin Thunder Liger, is a Japanese retired professional wrestler and mixed martial artist, currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He is the longest-tenured member of the NJPW roster, having wrestled for the company since his debut in 1984 until his retirement in January 2020. Throughout his career, which spanned three-and-a-half decades, he wrestled over 4,000 matches and performed in major events for various promotions across the globe.
Hirooki Goto is a Japanese professional wrestler. Since his debut, he has wrestled primarily for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He is known for being the longest reigning NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion with his Chaos stablemates, Tomohiro Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi, a two-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, one-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, five-time NEVER Openweight Champion, one-time winner of the G1 Climax (2008), four-time winner of the World Tag League, and a record three-time winner of the New Japan Cup.
David Finlay III is a German-born Irish-American professional wrestler who performs under the ring name David Finlay. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is current NEVER Openweight Champion in his first reign and also performs for Impact Wrestling, where he is a former Impact World Tag Team Champion. As of March 2023, he is a member of, and the sixth and current leader of Bullet Club.
Lucas Eatwell, better known by his ring name Zack Sabre Jr., is an English professional wrestler. He is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a member of The Mighty Don't Kneel stable, and is the current and inaugural NJPW World Television Champion in his first reign. From 2017, Sabre Jr was a part of the Suzuki-gun stable, until its disbandment in 2022. Outside NJPW, Sabre performs for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Ring of Honor (ROH), Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW), and Progress Wrestling (Progress).
Chaos is a professional wrestling stable, primarily performing in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The stable is currently led by Kazuchika Okada. The group was formed in 2009, when nearly all the members of the Great Bash Heel (G.B.H) stable turned on leader Togi Makabe and reformed under new leader Shinsuke Nakamura. Soon after, the new group was named Chaos, with Nakamura as the leader. As the leader of Chaos, Nakamura was one of NJPW's top wrestlers, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Intercontinental Championship as well as the 2011 G1 Climax and the 2014 New Japan Cup.
Nobuo Yoshihashi is a Japanese professional wrestler. He currently works for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as Yoshi-Hashi, where he is currently one-half of IWGP Tag Team Champions alongside Hirooki Goto in their second reign. As well as a former NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion with Hirooki Goto and Tomohiro Ishii. A team which holds the record for longest reign with the title.
Matthew Marinelli, known by his ring name, Matt Taven, is an American professional wrestler and wrestling trainer, who currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling.
War of the Worlds was a professional wrestling supershow co-produced by the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotions. The event took place on May 17, 2014, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York, U.S. and aired live on Internet pay-per-view (iPPV) through Ustream.
Stephen Blake Woltz, better known by his ring name "Hangman" Adam Page, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a former AEW World Champion and AEW World Tag Team Champion.
The Kingdom are an American professional wrestling tag team, who work for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), and previously also appeared with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), consisting of Adam Cole, Matt Hardy, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, T. K. O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia. Under multiple incarnations The Kingdom formerly held the ROH World Tag Team Championship, the IWGP Tag Team Championship and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship a record three times.
Yohei Komatsu is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he currently performs under the ring name Yoh, he is a former one-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion alongside Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi. Before, he was a part of the junior heavyweight tag team Roppongi 3K along with Sho, and the two are the former five-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. He has previously also worked for the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he was known under the ring name Fujin, named after the Japanese God of the wind, and was part of La Ola Amarilla alongside Okumura, Kamaitachi and Raijin.
BrandelLittlejohn, better known by his ring name World Famous CB, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently working for Ring of Honor (ROH), and also works as an assistant trainer at the ROH Dojo. Despite mostly being used as a jobber due to his small stature, he is a perennial fan favorite among ROH fans.
Honor Rising: Japan 2017 was a two-day professional wrestling "supershow" event co-produced by the Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and American Ring of Honor (ROH) promotions. The shows took place on February 26 and 27, 2017, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Global Wars 2017 was a professional wrestling tour co-produced by the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotions. The tour's four events took place on October 12 at Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, New York, October 13 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 14 at Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio, and October 15 at Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois. This was the fourth year in which ROH and NJPW co-produced shows under the Global Wars name.
G1 Supercard was a professional wrestling supershow co-produced by the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotions. It was the 13th annual Supercard of Honor event and took place on April 6, 2019, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The event was streamed live on Honor Club, New Japan Pro-Wrestling World, FITE TV, and broadcast live on traditional pay-per-view outlets. It is the final Supercard of Honor to be produced under Sinclair ownership.

Paul Gruber, is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Wheeler Yuta. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a former ROH Pure Champion in which he has a record-setting two reigns. He is a member of the Blackpool Combat Club stable, and in addition to appearing for AEW, he also makes appearances in Ring of Honor, and Japan's New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he was formerly a member of Chaos.
Aussie Open are an Australian professional wrestling tag team, consisting of Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher. They are currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
