The premier of New South Wales is the head of government in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The Government of New South Wales follows the Westminster Parliamentary System, with a Parliament of New South Wales acting as the legislature. The premier is appointed by the governor of New South Wales, and by modern convention holds office by his or her ability to command the support of a majority of members of the lower house of Parliament, the Legislative Assembly.

Wakefield Park Raceway was a 2.200 km (1.367 mi) motor racing circuit located near Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia. It is named after Charles Wakefield, the founder of Castrol. The founders of Wakefield Park, John Carter and amateur racer and former motor dealer, Paul Samuels felt that Castrol had been so influential in helping amateurs go motor racing that CC Wakefield should be honoured, especially as Samuels' and Carter's’ circuit was intended for amateur racers in the likelihood in the 1990s of both Amaroo and Oran Park Raceways closing and amateur racers being unable to afford the daily hire rate at Eastern Creek Raceway.
Ryan Graham Leslie Carters is an Australian former cricketer who represented New South Wales in the Australian domestic cricket competition and the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. In May 2017, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 2019 to 2023, representing Wollondilly for the Liberal Party where he lives with his wife and sends his children to school. Smith was defeated by teal independent Judy Hannan in the 2023 New South Wales state election in what is widely considered as an upset.
