The World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships is an international swimming championship event organized biennially by World Aquatics for swimmers aged 14–18 years as of the 31st December of the year of the competition. It is usually held on odd years. Zhang Yufei is a Chinese competitive swimmer who specializes in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. Considered one of the most promising swimmers in the international scene, she produced a tally of thirty-seven medals in her swimming career, spanning the Youth Olympics, Asian Games, World Championships and the Summer Olympics. In 2023, she was named as the most valuable player in the women's division, in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou.

The men's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay event at the 2014 Asian Games took place on 24 September 2014 at Munhak Park Tae-hwan Aquatics Center, South Korea.
