Systomus jacobusboehlkei is a species of cyprinid fish native to the lower Mekong and Chao Phraya Basins of Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. It inhabits marshlands and floodplains, swamps, and small, slow-flowing tributaries. It is present in local food fisheries, along with other small species. [1] This species can reach a length of 12 centimetres (4.7 in) SL. [2] [3]

Schistura novemradiata is a species of ray-finned fish, a stone loach, in the genus Schistura which has been recorded from a single locality in the upper Nam Tha watershed in Laos where it was found in a small stream over a substrate consisting of gravel and stone.

Hemimyzon confluens is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Hemimyzon. It is known from a single location in the Nam Ngum drainage in Laos, a tributary of the Mekong. Hemimyzon khonensis is a species of hillstream loach in the genus Hemimyzon. It is known from a single specimen collected in the Mekong at the Khone Falls in Laos, near the Cambodian border; it is named for the falls. The specimen was 51 mm (2.0 in) in standard length.

The Stedman barb is a species of cyprinid fish native to India and Bangladesh in the Ganges River basin where it occurs in foothill streams and rivers. This species can reach a length of 24 centimetres (9.4 in) TL. It is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries.

Homaloptera confuzona is a species of hillstream loach in the genus Homaloptera found in Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. It lives in the lower Mekong drainage and coastal streams of Cambodia and eastern Thailand. The maximum size is about 40 cm (16 in) SL.

It grows to a maximum length of 10.6 cm (4.2 in) and feeds on small invertebrates, seeds, fish scales and small fish.
