Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak is a Malaysian politician who served as the 6th prime minister of Malaysia from April 2009 to May 2018. He is the son of another former prime minister, Abdul Razak Hussein. Najib Razak was the chairman of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition from April 2009 to May 2018 and the president of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) from November 2008 to May 2018, which had maintained control of Malaysia's government with a parliamentary majority for more than sixty years until the coalition's defeat in the 2018 general election. He is referred to as Father of Transformation.
Lim Guan Eng is a Malaysian politician from the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bagan, Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Air Putih since March 2008 and 5th Secretary-General of DAP since May 2004. He served as the Minister of Finance in the PH administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020, 5th Chief Minister of Penang from March 2008 to May 2018 and MP for Kota Melaka from August 1986 to November 1999.

He as the Deputy President of UMNO and Deputy Chairman of BN, temporarily took over the reins of the acting party President and acting coalition Chairman in May 2018 after the resignations of his predecessor Najib on 12 May 2018, he was subsequently elected as the party President in the 2018 UMNO leadership election and appointed the coalition Chairman on 30 June 2018. Deputy President of UMNO and Deputy Chairman of BN Mohamad Hasan also temporarily took over the reins as the acting party President and acting coalition Chairman when he took leave for more than half of a year from 18 December 2018 to 30 June 2019. He is the second President of UMNO and first Chairman of BN who is not the Prime Minister after Onn Jaafar.

The Exchange 106 is a skyscraper within the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) area, a new financial district currently being developed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 95-floor building is topped with a 65-metre (213 ft), 12-storey high illuminated crown making it 445 m (1,460 ft) tall. The 14th Penang election was held on 9 May 2018 to elect the State Assemblymen of the 14th Penang State Legislative Assembly, the legislature of the Malaysian state of Penang. The legislature had been dissolved on 9 April by the state's Governor, Abdul Rahman Abbas, on the advice of the then Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, who also led the state's ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.
