Tazeh Kand (Persian : تازه كند‎, also Romanized as Tāzeh Kand and Tāzehkand; also known as Tāzeh Kand-e Bāzargān)^[1] is a village in Qaleh Darrehsi Rural District, in the Central District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 186, in 35 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Qaleh Darrehsi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,161, in 2,708 families. The rural district has 36 villages.
