Tikmeh Kord (Persian : تيكمه كرد‎, also Romanized as Tīkmeh Kord; also known as Tekmeh Kord, Tīkmeh, Tīkmeh Kharābeh, Tīkmeh-ye Bālā, Tikme Qishlāq, and Tokmeh)^[1] is a village in Chaybasar-e Jonubi Rural District, in the Central District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 298, in 51 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chaybasar-e Jonubi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,148, in 2,004 families. The rural district has 45 villages.
