Teacup is an 2024 American horror television series created by Ian McCulloch and inspired by the novel Stinger by Robert R. McCammon.
The first season premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2024, and is scheduled to premiere on Peacock on October 10, 2024 with eight half-hour episodes. [1]
On an isolated ranch in rural Georgia, several people are forced together to face a mysterious threat.

In December 2022, it was announced Peacock had given a straight-to-series order to a contemporary horror series from Ian McCulloch and James Wan. [4] E. L. Katz is slated to direct the opening episode. [4]
In February 2024, it was announced Yvonne Strahovski had been cast in the series, now known as Teacup, as Maggie Chenoweth. [5] Scott Speedman was cast that same month to star opposite Strahovski. [6]

Robert Scott Speedman is a Canadian actor. He is known for portraying Ben Covington in the coming-of-age drama television series Felicity, Lycan–Vampire hybrid Michael Corvin in the gothic horror–action Underworld films, and Barry "Baz" Blackwell in the TNT crime drama series Animal Kingdom. His other film work includes Duets, Dark Blue, XXX: State of the Union, The Strangers, Barney's Version, The Vow, and Crimes of the Future. In 2021, he returned to Grey's Anatomy as a main character following a guest role in season 14 as Dr. Nick Marsh.
