Tech Panda & Kenzani are an Indian electronic DJ and music production duo based out of Delhi consisting of Rupinder Nanda - Tech Panda (born, 12 December 1986) and Kedar Santwani - Kenzani (born 26 May 1989). [1] They are best known for their tracks "Khoyo", "Dillagi", "Dilbar" and Indian version of "Sunflower" from the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . [2]
The duo was formed in around 2018. [3] Rupinder and Kedar met through a friend and they immediately began discussing goals as artists. Originally, Tech Panda and Kenzani were previously solo DJs and producers. Later, they began collaborating and performing live together and soon formed the musical duo "Tech Panda & Kenzani". [4] Kenzani is an artist name derived from the combination of first name Kedar and last name Santwani. [5] Tech Panda adopted his nickname from his school days, when he was called Panda for his laziness. He added the word Tech to his name to reflect his affinity for tech house music. [6]
The duo formed the abstract genre "Indian electronica", taking inspiration from house, techno and subgenres. [7]
In 2019, they released "Saawariya" together.[ citation needed ] It was featured in BBC Asian Network and MTV USA. They started primarily focusing on folktronica, Indian electronic music and Electronica eventually. [8]
In 2021, their single "Khoyo" gained millions of streams after it was sync licensed for the Amazon Prime series "Shehar Lakhot".
In 2023, their single "Dilbar" with Rusha & Blizza went viral on Instagram with audience creating a total of 400K+ videos using the song [9] and DSPs, [10] gaining millions of streams within the month of release. [11] Dilbar was also charting across Canada, UK, Dubai and Pakistan and in India Indie Charts on Spotify and No.1 in Apple Music India Music Electronic Charts for over three months. [12] The track was later signed by Sony Music. [13] Same year, they released another single "Kulli" which received significant coverage as well. [14] [15]
In June 2023, They were asked to recreate the track "Sunflower" from the film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” to Indian musical traditions and Hindi vocals. [16] The version was released by Sony Music Entertainment (Maddison Gate Records) and was featured in the official covers for the sequel film, [17] “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. [18] [19] The cover version featured the artist "Badal" for the Hindi Vocals. [20]
In September 2023, They were invited as speaker for the TED event hosted independently by TCET called "The Symphony of Life". [21]
In December 2023, They collaborated with the British rapper Raxstar and Folktronica duo Hari & Sukhmani for the single "Talk To Me Nice", which was mixed and mastered by Grammy winning producer Luca Pretolesi. [22] [23]

Aga Bai Arrechha! is a 2004 Indian Marathi comedy drama film by director Kedar Shinde loosely based on the Hollywood film What Women Want. It was released in 2004. The film highlights the life and the problems of a common man living in a metropolitan city like Mumbai. His greatest desire in life is to answer the question "What do women want?" He is then blessed by the Kuldevi of his village and gets a special "ear" for the internal dialogues of the women around him. It highlights his transition from a frustrated individual to someone who is happy, content and in charge of his life. The film also had a sequel titled Aga Bai Arechyaa 2, which was not a commercial success.

Hari & Sukhmani is an Indian folktronic duo comprising Hari Singh Jaaj and Sukhmani Malik, who are known for fusing traditional folk music of Punjab with electronic music, and incorporating elements from Sufi poetry of Bulle Shah, Baba Farid, Kabir, and Shah Hussain, in their compositions.
Folktronica is a genre of music comprising various elements of folk music and electronica, often featuring uses of acoustic instruments – especially stringed instruments – and incorporating hip hop, electronic or dance rhythms, although it varies based on influences and choice of sounds. "Kombadi Palali" is a Marathi-language song from the soundtrack album of the 2005 comedy film Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad, directed by Kedar Shinde, it was picturised on Bharat Jadhav and Kranti Redkar. The song was composed by Ajay-Atul, voiced by Anand Shinde, Vaishali Samant, with lyrics penned by Jitendra Joshi. It was adapted into Hindi as "Chikni Chameli" for the 2012 action drama Agneepath, featuring Hritik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, and Katrina Kaif in the song. Kranti Redkar gained acclaim for her dancing prowess in the song.
