Tekka is an upcoming 2024 Indian Bengali language action drama film [1] directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Gurupada Adhikari and Deepak Adhikari under Dev Entertainment Ventures. [2] The film stars Dev, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Swastika Mukherjee, Rukmini Maitra and Tota Roy Chowdhury in lead roles. [3]

Filming began in early 2024. The film's music is composed by Ranajoy Bhattacharjee, cinematography by Madhur Palit and editing by Devjyoti Ghosh. [4]

Tekka is initially planned to release in theaters during Durga Puja in 2024. [5]

Development

In December 2023, it was reported that Dev would collaborate with director Srijit for his next film after Pradhan (2023). The film's production house confirmed the collaboration between Srijit and Dev by releasing the official poster of the film on social media Facebook on December 25. [6] Filming of the film began in 2024. Filming is suspended for the 2024 general elections in India; the rest of the filming was completed after the general elections. [7] [5] The film is produced by Gurupad Adhikari and Deepak Adhikari under the Dev Entertainment Ventures. [5]
