Terrel Andre Harris (born August 10, 1987) [1] is an American former professional basketball player who is a player development coach for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Oklahoma State.
Harris attended South Garland High School in Garland, Texas, [2] where he was unanimously voted District 11-5A MVP and also voted 1st team All State as a senior. He played college basketball at Oklahoma State University from 2005–09 and majored in education. He appeared in 134 career games and averaged 9.8 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, and 1.3 steals per game in 26.4 minutes per game. He shot 43.9 percent from the field, 36.3 percent from three-point range and 81.5 percent from the free throw line. [2] He averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds in 32 minutes per game during his senior year while starting all 35 games. [3] He also received an All–Big 12 Honorable Mention and was named to the Big 12 All–Defensive Team. [4]
Not selected in the 2009 NBA draft, Harris began his professional career in France with Strasbourg IG, signing with the team on August 23, 2009. [5] In nine games, Harris averaged 6.8 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.11 steals and made 37.5% of field goal attempts. [2] On January 7, 2010, Harris signed with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League; the Red Claws waived Harris in March 2010. By the end of March 2010, Harris signed with the D-League team Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In September and October 2011, Harris played with EnBW Ludwigsburg of Basketball Bundesliga in Germany. [5]
After beginning the 2011–12 season with the Vipers, Harris was invited to the Miami Heat's training camp on December 12, 2011. [6] On December 24, 2011, it was officially announced that Harris had made the Heat's final roster. [7] On January 5, 2012, against the Atlanta Hawks, Harris posted a career-high 14 rebounds along with 9 points. On April 6, 2012, Harris scored a career-high 10 points against the Memphis Grizzlies. Harris won an NBA championship with the Heat on June 21, 2012.
On July 4, 2012, the Heat declined to extend a qualifying offer to Harris, making him an unrestricted free agent. [8] He was re-signed by the Heat on September 11, 2012. [9] The Heat waived him on January 5, 2013. [10] After being waived by the Heat, he was re-acquired by the Vipers.
On March 5, 2013, Harris was traded to the Erie BayHawks. [11]
On March 8, 2013, Harris signed a ten-day contract with the New Orleans Hornets. [12] He signed a second ten-day contract on March 18, [13] and signed for the remainder of the season on March 28. [14] In April 2013, the Hornets were renamed the Pelicans.
On July 10, 2013, the Pelicans sent Harris and teammate Robin Lopez to the Portland Trail Blazers as part of a three-way trade that also involved the Sacramento Kings. [15]
Harris was waived by the Trail Blazers on September 23, 2013. [16] [17]
On October 31, 2013, he was acquired by the Erie BayHawks. [18] On November 4, 2013, he was traded to the Texas Legends. [19] On February 20, 2014, he was traded to the Bakersfield Jam. [20]
On August 22, 2014, Harris signed with Maccabi Ashdod of Israel for the 2014–15 season. [21]
Harris has two siblings: a brother, Kendal, a top-rated point guard in the 2013 class, and a sister, Tresa. His mother is Jackie Harris. While in college at Oklahoma State, Harris majored in education. He wears size 13 sneakers.

Jamaal Dane Magloire is a Canadian former professional basketball player who currently serves as basketball development consultant and community ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. He played 12 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, Portland Trail Blazers, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, and Toronto Raptors. The 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m), 265 lb center was selected out of the University of Kentucky by the Charlotte Hornets, with the 19th overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft, after withdrawing his name from the previous draft. The 1995–96 NBA season was the eighth season for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association. The Heat had the tenth overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft, and selected Kurt Thomas out of Texas Christian University. Under new head coach, and team president Pat Riley, the Heat would be restructured. On the first day of the regular season, which began on November 3, 1995, the team acquired All-Star center Alonzo Mourning from the Charlotte Hornets. With the addition of Mourning, along with the off-season acquisition of Rex Chapman from the Washington Bullets, the Heat won 11 of their first 14 games, but then lost 23 of their next 34 games, holding a 22–26 at the All-Star break.
Robert Anthony Vaden is an American former professional basketball player. Previously he played for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League. Vaden played college basketball with the Indiana Hoosiers and the UAB Blazers for two years each. After four years in college, he was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 54th pick in the 2009 NBA draft. After the draft, his draft rights were immediately traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, the Thunder did not sign him to a contract. The 2000–01 NBA season was the 13th season for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association. During the off-season, the Heat acquired All-Star guard Eddie Jones, Anthony Mason and Ricky Davis from the Charlotte Hornets, acquired Brian Grant from the Portland Trail Blazers in a three-team trade, and signed free agent A.C. Green. However, before the start of the season, All-Star center Alonzo Mourning suffered a kidney disorder and only played in the final thirteen games of the season. Without Mourning, the Heat struggled with a 5–9 start as Davis only played just seven games due to ankle and knee injuries, and was out for the rest of the season. However, they soon recovered playing above .500 as the season progressed, as the team acquired Cedric Ceballos in a trade with the Detroit Pistons in late November. The Heat held a 30–20 record at the All-Star break, and finished second in the Atlantic Division with a solid 50–32 record.
Donald Wayne Sloan is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies. Sloan played parts of five seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Atlanta Hawks, New Orleans Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets. He played in the NBA D-League and Chinese Basketball Association in between NBA stints.
The 1995–96 NBA season was the 8th season for the Charlotte Hornets in the National Basketball Association. During the off-season, the Hornets re-acquired former guard Kendall Gill from the Seattle SuperSonics. On the first day of the regular season, which began on November 3, 1995, the Hornets acquired Glen Rice, Matt Geiger and second-year guard Khalid Reeves from the Miami Heat. The Hornets got off to a slow start losing eight of their first eleven games, but played around .500 as the season progressed. In January, they traded Gill and Reeves to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for Kenny Anderson, who became the team's starting point guard, while Muggsy Bogues sat out with a knee injury that only limited him to just six games. Scott Burrell was also out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury after only playing just 20 games.
