Thailand competed in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States from 7 to 17 July 2022. The games were originally scheduled for July 2021, but were postponed due to the rescheduling of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. [1] Athletes representing Thailand won four gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals. The country finished in 18th place in the medal table.

Thailand qualified two pétanque players in women's pétanque doubles at the World Games. Phantipha Wongchuvej and Nantawan Fueangsanit receive one spot in women's doubles by finishing in the first place at the 2019 FIPJP Women's Doubles Pétanque World Championships in Almería, Spain. [7] Phantipha Wongchuvej also qualified in women's pétanque precision shooting.

The 2022 World Games which is the 11th World Games was an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that were not contested in the Olympic Games. While originally scheduled for July 2021, The World Games 2022 was held on July 7 to 17, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, due to the rescheduling of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The host city was chosen by the International World Games Association on January 22, 2015, and the Games featured 30 official sports in 54 disciplines which were contested at 30 venues across the Birmingham area.
Ukraine competed at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States, from 7 July to 17 July 2022. Ukraine ranked third in the medal tally as well as third by the number of medals. This was the best performance of Ukrainian athletes at the World Games.
