The Catastrophist is the seventh studio album by American post-rock band Tortoise. [12] It was released on Thrill Jockey in 2016. [13] It features vocal contributions from Todd Rittmann and Georgia Hubley. [14]

Us and the Night is the sixth studio album by American rock band 3 Doors Down, released on March 11, 2016. It is 3 Doors Down's first studio album since Time of My Life (2011), marking the longest gap between two studio albums up to that point in their career, and the band's first album with Chet Roberts on lead guitar and Justin Biltonen on bass. The album received mixed reviews from critics. Us and the Night debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned three singles: "In the Dark", "Still Alive", and "The Broken". To promote the record, the band headlined tours across Europe and North America.

<i>13 Voices</i> 2016 studio album by Sum 41

13 Voices is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on October 7, 2016. It is the first Sum 41 album to be released through independent label Hopeless Records after the band fulfilled their contract with major label Island Records. It is also Sum 41's first album to feature drummer Frank Zummo, who replaced original drummer Steve Jocz, and their first album to feature guitarist Tom Thacker. The album also features the return of longtime lead guitarist Dave Baksh. The album is also their first as a five-piece band, as it features both Baksh and Thacker on lead guitar. On May 11, 2016, the band announced that they had signed to Hopeless Records to release the crowd-funded project.

Conscious is the second studio album recorded by New Zealand music duo Broods, released on 24 June 2016. It builds on the electropop sound established in their 2014 debut, Evergreen, with elements of industrial and R&B. The Glorious Sons are a Canadian rock band from Kingston, Ontario. Formed in 2011, the band signed with Black Box in 2013. Since then, The Glorious Sons have released one EP, Shapeless Art, and four full-length albums; The Union, which was released on September 14, 2014. Young Beauties and Fools was released on October 13, 2017. Their third album, A War On Everything, was released September 13, 2019. On September 8, 2023, their fourth album, Glory, was released in its entirety after releasing several songs as singles. This also launched their North American tour, beginning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They will play in their hometown of Kingston, Ontario on New Years Eve and the last stop of the tour will be St. Catherines, Ontario in February 2024.
