Ultimate Kylie is the second major greatest hits album by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue, and her first greatest hits released under her contract with Parlophone, her record company between 1999–2015. The compilation was released in many different formats including a two-disc edition and a deluxe double disc with a bonus DVD. A separate compilation DVD with the same name, was released to accompany the audio versions. The album includes two new tracks; its lead single, "I Believe in You", and the second single, "Giving You Up". A third track, "Made of Glass", was recorded for the album but not used; it was included on the physical releases of "Giving You Up".
The Immaculate Collection is a greatest hits album by American singer Madonna, released on November 9, 1990, by Sire Records. It contains new remixes of fifteen of her hit singles from 1983 to 1990, as well as two new tracks. Its title is a loose pun on the Immaculate Conception, the conception of the Virgin Mary without the stain of original sin. An extended play titled The Holiday Collection was released in Europe to accompany the compilation and the re-release of the single "Holiday". It is the first album ever to use the audio technology QSound.
The Ultimate Collection is a box set by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was released on November 16, 2004 by Epic Records and consists of four audio CDs and one DVD. The album sold 57,000 copies in 2004 only, and on May 16, 2013, it was certified Platinum as a multi-disk package by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for physical shipments of 200,000 copies. The DVD marked the first appearance of Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour, which was later released as an individual title on July 25, 2005. The set also features a 60 pages booklet that contains photos and text by the American music critic Nelson George summarizing the artist's career.

It was released by Columbia Records on 24 October 2008 as the follow up to her previous English-language compilation, All the Way... A Decade of Song (1999). Before releasing My Love: Essential Collection, Dion had already sold over 200 million albums worldwide. In the album's liner notes, she dedicated this collection of songs, recorded between 1990 and 2008, to her fans who supported her throughout the years. My Love: Essential Collection was released as a single disc, consisting of Dion's most successful singles, including: "My Heart Will Go On", "Because You Loved Me", "The Power of Love" and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now".
