Halifax bus station serves the town of Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. The bus station is owned and managed by West Yorkshire Metro. Formerly consisting of several island platforms, after a period of part-closure and relocation to some temporary stands, the bus station was reopened on 1 October 2023 consisting of 19 reversal bays, a layover and 4 accessible entrances. The bus station is situated in the Halifax Town Centre and could be accessed from Northgate, Winding Road and Wade Street. Several services, such as the majority of services to Illingworth and Mixenden do not serve the bus station and use stops in the town centre.

Happy Valley is a British crime drama television series, set and filmed in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. Starring Sarah Lancashire, James Norton and Siobhan Finneran, it was written and created by Sally Wainwright and directed by Wainwright, Euros Lyn and Tim Fywell. The first series began on BBC One on 29 April 2014, the second on 9 February 2016, and the third and final series on 1 January 2023. It won the 2015 BAFTA Award for Best Drama Series, and won another BAFTA for Best Drama for the second series.
Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council is the local authority for the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. The council styles itself Calderdale Council. It is a metropolitan district council, one of five in West Yorkshire and one of 36 in the metropolitan counties of England. It provides the majority of local government services in Calderdale. Since 2014 the council has been a constituent member of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
