The Link is the second studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. A remastered edition of the album was released in 2005 by the band's former label, Listenable Records. The track "Indians" was released as a single.
In late September 2012, Listenable Records released the album in vinyl format, a strictly limited edition of 250 copies, available in two colors – black and red.

Gojira is a French heavy metal band from Ondres. Founded as Godzilla in 1996, the band's lineup—brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier (drums), Christian Andreu, and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass)—has been the same since the band changed its name to Gojira in 2001. Gojira has been known for its progressive and technical death metal styles and spiritual, philosophical, and environmentally themed lyrics. The band has gone "from the utmost obscurity during the first half of their career to widespread global recognition in the second". Gojira also became the first heavy metal band to perform at an Olympics opening ceremony during the 2024 Summer Olympics in France.

Cavalera Conspiracy is a Brazilian-American heavy metal supergroup from Phoenix, Arizona, founded by Brazilian brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, who are widely known as former members of Sepultura, and the only two constant members of the band. The group's creation marked the end of a 10-year feud between the Cavalera brothers who founded Sepultura in the early 1980s. The Way of All Flesh is the fourth studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. The album was released on 13 October 2008 in Europe via Listenable Records and on 14 October in the US through Prosthetic Records. It sold around 4,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at number 138 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also reached no. 1 on the Top Heatseekers chart and no. 21 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The album was recorded at the band's home studio while Joe Duplantier produced it. In the band, Joe and Mario called themselves Vensceslas Podoldo and Daniel Pestous, respectively.

Magma is the sixth studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. The album was released on 17 June 2016 through Roadrunner Records. Magma was recorded at the band's studio in New York City, and was produced by Joe Duplantier, mixed by Johann Meyer and mastered by Ted Jensen. The album has been noted as a stylistic departure from the band's previous albums, featuring a more accessible atmospheric sound and more prominent use of clean vocals. Magma was dedicated to the Duplantier brothers' mother, Patricia, who died during the recording of the album in 2015.
