The Liquid Amber EP is an EP by American music producer DJ Shadow. It was released for streaming on August 12, 2014 through DJ Shadow's official website and was later released on DJ Shadow's record label, Liquid Amber. [1] [2] The track "Ghost Town" was also released for free download. [3]

Background

The EP features two original songs and a Machinedrum remix of the track "Six Days", from The Private Press (2002). Both songs were written, programmed, and mixed by DJ Shadow. DJ Shadow described the EP as "the opening salvo in what I hope is a long string of music, by myself and others, on my new imprint." He also stated that the track "Ghost Town" was inspired by "many of the micro-genres within the future bass umbrella." [4]

Simon Neale, known by his stage names Shadow Child and Dave Spoon, is an English radio DJ and dance music producer. He's also part of the duo Avec alongside Doorly. He was part of the line-up on BBC Radio 1's "In New DJs We Trust" feature, which ran from Thursday night to Friday morning at 2 am to 4 am. The DJ has become notable for his hits, "Bad Girl " with Lisa Maffia and "Baditude" with Sam Obernik. His first release as Shadow Child was on Dirtybird Records in March 2012, and he's since formed his own record label, Food Music, alongside Lewis of Kry Wolf. Simon has a show on Rinse FM from 9 am to 1 pm every Wednesday evening as Shadow Child.

The discography of DJ Shadow, an American music producer and disc jockey, consists of six studio albums, six live albums, six compilation albums, two remix albums, two mix albums, five extended plays, twenty-eight singles and fourteen music videos. He released his debut single – a split release featuring his track "Lesson 4" and "Real Deal" by American hip hop ensemble Lifers Group – in 1991. After signing to Mo' Wax Records in 1993, he released the singles "In/Flux" and "Lost and Found (S.F.L.)", both of which became minor hits in the United Kingdom. Shadow attained his first top 75 single the following year with "What Does Your Soul Look Like", which peaked at number 59 in the UK. The Chill Out Sessions is the second EP by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It consists remixes made by British electronic music producer Draper. After being initially planned to be released on New Year's Day 2012 it was delayed indefinitely by Bring Me the Horizon due to their label situation. However it was released on 22 November 2012 as a free download. The remix EP makes use of Draper's own music style named "chill-step" or "liquid-step" as a homage to his ambient, relaxing take on dubstep music.
