<i>The BMJ</i> Peer-reviewed medical journal published by British Medical Association

The BMJ is a weekly peer-reviewed medical trade journal, published by the trade union the British Medical Association (BMA). The BMJ has editorial freedom from the BMA. It is one of the world's oldest general medical journals. Originally called the British Medical Journal, the title was officially shortened to BMJ in 1988, and then changed to The BMJ in 2014. The journal is published by BMJ Publishing Group Ltd, a subsidiary of the British Medical Association (BMA). The editor-in-chief of The BMJ is Kamran Abbasi, who was appointed in January 2022.

The International Journal of Medical Sciences is a peer-reviewed open access medical journal published by Ivyspring International Publisher covering research in basic medical sciences. Articles include original research papers, reviews, and short research communications. Full text of published articles is archived in PubMed Central. The current editor-in-chief is Dennis D. Taub.

<i>Epilepsy Currents</i> Academic journal

Epilepsy Currents is a bimonthly peer-reviewed open-access medical journal that was established in 2001 by the American Epilepsy Society. It publishes commentary articles, written by a board of contributing editors, and brief topical reviews. While commentary articles are solicited from members of the board of contributing editors, the editors entertain suggestions regarding topics for review articles. Content is available on the society's web site and on PubMed Central. The journal began to be self-published by the society in collaboration with Allen Press in 2011; prior to that time the journal was published on behalf of the society by Wiley-Blackwell.

Clinical Microbiology Reviews is a peer-reviewed medical journal covering the areas of clinical microbiology, immunology, medical microbiology, infectious diseases, veterinary microbiology, and microbial pathogenesis. It is a delayed open access journal, full content is accessible via PubMed Central and the journal's website after a 12-month embargo. It is the ninth journal established and published by the American Society for Microbiology.

It is the official journal of the American Medical Directors Association. The journal covers all aspects of long-term care and geriatrics. JAMDA's readership includes internists, family/general practitioners, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, researchers and persons interested in caring for older persons.

<i>Indian Journal of Medical Research</i> Academic journal

The Indian Journal of Medical Research is a peer-reviewed online open-access medical journal, available as a print-on-demand compilation. It is published by Medknow Publications on behalf of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Since 1977, it has been published monthly with six issues per volume. The journal publishes original "technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues" in biomedical research as well as narrative and evidence-based review articles. Current Opinion in Neurology is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering neurology. The journal publishes editorials and reviews, but not original research articles. The journal was established in 1988 as Current Opinion in Neurology and Neurosurgery and obtained its current name in 1993.

The European Journal of Clinical Nutrition is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering nutrition science and published by the Springer Nature. It was established in 1947 by John Waterlow as Nutrition and renamed Journal of Human Nutrition in 1976.
