Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., known professionally as Lil Wayne, is an American rapper. He is regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artists of his generation, and widely considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. Born and raised in New Orleans, he was discovered by hometown rapper Birdman in 1993 and signed with his record label, Cash Money Records, at age eleven. He emerged as the flagship artist of the label in the following years until his departure in June 2018.
Cash Money Records is an American record label founded in 1991 by brothers Ronald "Slim" Williams and Bryan "Baby" Williams. The label gained prominence in the late 1990s for having signed and released albums for New Orleans–based musical acts including Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G., and Hot Boys. It became an imprint of Universal Records, a division of Universal Music Group in March 1998, and remained so during its following iterations as Universal Republic, Universal Motown and ultimately Republic Records.
Christopher Noel Dorsey, better known by his stage name B.G., is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his musical career in 1993 upon signing with Birdman's Cash Money Records at the age of 12. Dorsey and label-mates Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Turk collectively formed the group Hot Boys in 1997, with whom he has released three commercially successful albums. As a solo act, Dorsey has released five solo albums for Cash Money—Chopper City (1996), It's All on U, Vol. 1 (1997), It's All on U, Vol. 2 (1997), the platinum-certified Chopper City in the Ghetto (1999) and Checkmate (2000)—to moderate success. He parted ways with the label in 2001 and founded Chopper City Records later that year.
Joseph Anthony Budden II is an American broadcaster and rapper. He first gained recognition in the latter occupation with his 2003 single "Pump It Up", which peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and preceded the release of his eponymous debut studio album (2003). Met with critical and commercial success, the album peaked within the top ten of the Billboard 200, although it served as his only major label release for Def Jam Recordings; he thereafter released seven albums independently to continued critical praise. While doing so, he performed as a member of the hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse, which were signed to Eminem's Shady Records in 2012; the group released two studio albums.
Donald Cannon is an American DJ, record producer, and record executive who served as Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Recordings from 2012 to 2018. With DJ Drama, he is the co-founder of the record label Generation Now, an imprint of Atlantic Records that has signed artists including Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow. Furthermore, Cannon and DJ Drama are members of the Atlanta-based mixtape collective, Aphilliates Music Group.
Skateboards 2 Scrapers is the debut EP by American hip hop group the Pack. It was released through Up All Nite, an imprint of Jive Records, on December 19, 2006. The EP follows the Pack's breakout hit "Vans" (2006). Skateboards 2 Scrapers was produced entirely by the Pack member Young L, who was the group's main producer. The EP received mixed reception from reviewers, who mostly criticized the lyrics.
"Vans" is the debut single by American hip hop group the Pack, released in 2006 as the lead single from their EP Skateboards 2 Scrapers (2006). It is their most successful song, peaking at number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100. The title references the skate shoe brand of the same name.
Charles Mitchell, known professionally as Mitchy Slick, is an American rapper from Southeast San Diego, California. He is a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, along with rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. He performs solo with three albums released in addition to many collaborations. Mitchell is the CEO of Wrongkind Records.
Based Boys is the debut album by American hip hop group the Pack. It was released on October 30, 2007, through Up All Nite, an imprint of Jive Records. It follows the group's breakout hit "Vans" and debut EP Skateboards 2 Scrapers, which were released in 2006. A hip hop and hyphy album, Based Boys consists of 17 songs, including 4 bonus tracks. It received mixed reviews from critics, who considered it unoriginal and repetitive, however the production by Young L was often praised. Upon the album's release, it was deemed a commercial failure, and the Pack were dropped from their label.
SMC Recordings is an independent hip hop record label established in 2005 in Del Valle, Texas, by Charles Vasquez, Micheal Luna, and Saroj Thapa. SMC primarily signs and distributes established hip hop artists.
Wolfpack Party is the second and final studio album by the Bay Area rap group the Pack. It was released on August 24, 2010, through SMC Recordings/Indie Pop.

Born in Gadsden, Alabama, and raised in Antioch, Tennessee, he embarked on his recording career in 2005, releasing four mixtapes to positive local reception. His fourth mixtape, Trunk Muzik (2010), earned him wider recognition and led him to sign a recording contract with Interscope Records. He re-worked the mixtape into his first major label release, Trunk Muzik 0-60 (2010).
Brandon Christopher McCartney, known professionally as Lil B and as his alter ego the BasedGod, is an American rapper. He has recorded both solo and as a member of the Berkeley, California-based hip hop group the Pack. His solo work spans several genres, including hip hop, new age, jazz, indie rock and choral music. He describes his work as "based"—a term which denotes a lifestyle of positivity and boldness—and is noted for his extensive use of social media to build an online cult following.
Brandon George Dickinson, better known by his stage name Lil Bibby, is an American rapper and record executive. Beginning his career in 2011, Bibby released his debut mixtape, Free Crack in 2013. It was followed by two sequels—Free Crack 2 (2014) and Free Crack 3 (2015)—until he signed with Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records, an imprint of RCA Records; however, he released no studio albums under the label.
Durk Devontay Banks, known professionally as Lil Durk, is an American rapper. Regarded as a pioneering artist in the Chicago-based hip hop subgenre drill music, he has been noted as one of the subgenre's most commercially successful rappers. He initially garnered local success with the release of his Signed to the Streets mixtape series (2013–2014), which led to him to sign with Def Jam Recordings. The label released his debut studio album, Remember My Name (2015), and its follow-up, Lil Durk 2X (2016), to moderate commercial reception before parting ways with the rapper in 2018.
Miles Parks McCollum, known professionally as Lil Yachty, is an American rapper. He first gained recognition in August 2015 for his viral hit "One Night", the lead single from his debut extended play (EP), Summer Songs. He released his debut mixtape Lil Boat in March 2016, and signed a joint venture record deal with Motown, Capitol Records, and Quality Control Music in June of that year.
Dominique Armani Jones, known professionally as Lil Baby, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He rose to prominence following the release of his 2017 mixtapes Harder than Hard and Too Hard — the former of which spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 entry with its lead single, "My Dawg." He signed with Quality Control Music, an imprint of Motown and Capitol Records to release his debut studio album Harder Than Ever (2018), which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and was supported by the Billboard Hot 100-top ten single "Yes Indeed". Later that year, he released the collaborative mixtape Drip Harder with fellow Georgia-based rapper Gunna, and his solo mixtape Street Gossip; the former spawned his second top-ten single "Drip Too Hard", while the latter peaked at number two on the Billboard 200.
Shoreline Mafia is an American hip hop group based in Los Angeles, that was originally active from 2016 until 2020. Their debut mixtape, ShorelineDoThatShit (2017) garnered local success, leading to a commercial re-issue by Atlantic Records in May 2018. In August of that year, they released the extended play (EP) Party Pack, and its sequel, Party Pack Vol. 2 in September 2019. Their debut studio album, Mafia Bidness (2020) peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200. In April of that year, one of the band's founding members, Fenix Flexin announced his departure, leading its remaining members to briefly disband.
Chandler A. Great, professionally known as Turbo, is an American record producer and songwriter. He is best known for his production with Young Thug, Travis Scott, Gunna, Nav, and Lil Baby.
Fenixomar "Fenix" Rypinski, known professionally as Fenix Flexin, is an American rapper from Los Angeles. He is a founding member of the hip hop group Shoreline Mafia. In April 2020, Fenix announced that he would be leaving Shoreline Mafia later that year, after the release of their first studio album, Mafia Bidness. After the group's disbandment, Fenix released multiple mixtapes and an album as a solo artist. Fenix resumed performing as part of Shoreline Mafia in October 2023, rejoining the group as a member in May 2024.
