The first series of the Israeli version of The Singer in the Mask premiered on Channel 12 on 23 September 2020 and concluded on 5 December 2020. The series was won by actor and singer Tzachi Halevy as "Rooster" with singer and children's star Rinat Gabay finishing second as "Dragonfly" and judoka Or Sasson finishing third as "Falafel". [1]
The show is hosted by television presenter Ido Rosenblum, with the judging panel comprising of journalist Ofira Asayag, comedian Shahar Hason, musical duo Static & Ben El Tavori, and director Tzedi Tzarfati. [2] [3]

Tzachi Halevy is an Israeli film and television actor and singer.
The Masked Singer is an American reality singing competition television series that premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019. It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer which features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. Hosted by Nick Cannon, the program employs panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout each season. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke appear in each episode and vote alongside an audience for their favorite singer after all performances have concluded. The least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.
Israel originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The Israeli broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation collaborated with the commercial broadcaster Keshet and Tedy Productions, which organisied the reality singing competition HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion. The competition was won by Eden Alene, with a separate national final, HaShir HaBa L'Eurovizion, held to select her entry "Feker Libi". However, the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hosted by Billy Crawford, the program features several panelists who are given various clues regarding the celebrities' identities to guess who they could be after each performance. At the end of each episode, the panelists and the audience vote for their favorite singer and the least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.

Matthias Opdenhövel hosts the show, with Alexander Klaws and Steven Gätjen serving as panelists.
The sixth season of the German singing competition The Masked Singer premiered on 19 March 2022 on ProSieben. Ruth Moschner and Rea Garvey returned to the panel. Matthias Opdenhövel also returned as host. Thore Schölermann hosted only the first episode after Opdenhövel tested positive for COVID-19.

The series was won by actress Yael Elkana as "Spider" with singer Adi Bity finishing second as "Fish" and singer Assaf Amdursky finishing third as "Snail".
