The ninth season of the German singing competition The Masked Singer premiered on 18 November 2023 on ProSieben. [1]

Panelists and host

TV presenter Ruth Moschner returned for her eighth season, and Álvaro Soler returns from season 5 but as a full panelist. Matthias Opdenhövel returned for his ninth season as host. [2] For the three remaining episodes, Álvaro Soler is not there for personal reasons, so he is replaced by Rick Kavanian.

It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities.
