In 2019, she became the sixth artist to top the BBC's annual Sound of... poll and win the Rising Star Award at the Brit Awards in the same year. Her debut album Not Your Muse was released in 2021 and debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. It earned her nominations for Album of the Year, Best Female Solo Artist and Best New Artist at the 2021 Brit Awards, as well as the 2021 Mercury Prize. In the same year, Celeste was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song for co-writing "Hear My Voice" from the film The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020).

The Trial of the Chicago 7 is a 2020 American historical legal drama film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin. The film follows the Chicago Seven, a group of anti–Vietnam War protesters charged with conspiracy and crossing state lines with the intention of inciting riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. It features an ensemble cast including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Daniel Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, John Carroll Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, Noah Robbins, Mark Rylance, Alex Sharp, Ben Shenkman, and Jeremy Strong.

The soundtrack for the 2018 American animated superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, based on the Miles Morales incarnation of the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and produced by Sony Pictures Animation, consists of a soundtrack featuring original songs written for and inspired by the film and an original score composed by Daniel Pemberton. The soundtrack was released under the title Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse under the Republic Records label on December 14, 2018, while Pemberton's score was released as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse under the Sony Classical label three days later.

Birds of Prey: The Album is the soundtrack album by various artists for the film Birds of Prey, released by Atlantic Records on February 7, 2020. Atlantic released five singles leading up to the album's release day. The album debuted at number 23 on the US Billboard 200, number nine in Australia, and within the top 40 in Canada, New Zealand, and Switzerland. It won the 2020 American Music Award for Top Soundtrack. A separate film score album, titled Birds of Prey – Original Motion Picture Score and composed by Daniel Pemberton, was released on February 14 by WaterTower Music.

Soul: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2020 Disney-Pixar film Soul. The soundtrack is a compilation of all 23 score pieces by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross from the Soul: Original Motion Picture Score vinyl album as well as 16 original songs by Jon Batiste from the Music from and Inspired by Soul vinyl album. All three albums were released through Walt Disney Records on December 18, 2020.

Steve Jobs: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the 2015 film Steve Jobs, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin, based on the life of Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs. Daniel Pemberton composed the film score in his maiden collaboration with Boyle. He split the score into three parts: analog, orchestral and digital, and had blended electronic and orchestral score as the film takes place during 1984–1998.

The Iron Giant is the 1999 animated science fiction film directed by Brad Bird for Warner Bros. Feature Animation. The film featured original score composed by Michael Kamen, in his first and only collaboration with Bird, as all his future films were scored by Michael Giacchino beginning with The Incredibles (2004). The score featured additional performance from the Czech Philharmonic symphony orchestra at Prague, conducted by Kamen himself and recording of the score happened within one week.

<i>John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum</i> (soundtrack) 2019 film score by Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is the soundtrack album to the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the third instalment in the John Wick franchise, starring Keanu Reeves as the eponymous character, and is directed by Chad Stahelski, who also directed the previous instalments. Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard, also returned as the composer for the series. The album, consisted most of Bates and Richard's score, while a song "Dance of the Two Wolves" performed by Julia Aks is also in the soundtrack. Varèse Sarabande released the soundtrack album digitally on May 17, 2019, coinciding the film's release, and physically on June 7, 2019. The two-disc vinyl edition of the soundtrack were released into a trilogy, along with the scores from previous instalments on November 15.

<i>Enola Holmes</i> (soundtrack) 2020 film score by Daniel Pemberton

Enola Holmes (Music from the Netflix Film) is the soundtrack of the 2020 film of the same name, directed by Harry Bradbeer, starring Millie Bobby Brown as the titular character. Daniel Pemberton composed the musical score, which he described it as a "blend of melodic and emotional orchestral music coupled with a nice level of messy quirky oddness thrown". The score was released on September 23, 2020 by Milan Records, the same day as the film. A vinyl edition of the soundtrack was later released on June 4, 2021. The score received positive response from critics, praising Pemberton's composition.

<i>Enola Holmes 2</i> (soundtrack) 2022 film score by Daniel Pemberton

Enola Holmes 2 (Music from the Netflix Film) is the score album to the 2022 mystery film Enola Holmes 2, directed by Harry Bradbeer, which is a sequel to Enola Holmes (2020). Daniel Pemberton, the original composer, returned to score for the sequel. Pemberton described the score as "bigger than the first film", due to the expansion of the creative journey and the lead actor's adventures. The album was released on November 4, 2022 by Milan Records.

The Scream slasher franchise has generated several soundtrack albums. American composer Marco Beltrami composed the film scores for the first four films in the series, while Brian Tyler has composed the film series since.

The music of the Spider-Verse film franchise was composed by Daniel Pemberton to support the film franchise produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment. While Pemberton scored the films, soundtracks featuring various singers and rappers were also released. American record producer Metro Boomin served as the executive producer for the soundtrack of the second film in the franchise, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
