The Unknown is the first album by German singer-songwriter Madeline Juno. It was released on March 7, 2014, by Polydor and peaked at number 24 on the German album charts.
Juno had worked on the album for four years. She started in 2009 when she was 14 years old and has uploaded some of her songs on YouTube. [1] She wrote the song "Melancholy Heartbeat" at the age of 14. [2] During an interview Juno stated that her favourite song is "Like Lovers Do". [3] Juno describes the album as "acoustic and melodic music full of hope" and calls her music "Heart-Core". [2] All songs are in English and were written by Madeline Juno, David Jost and Dave Roth.
The Unknown was released on March 7, 2014, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It could be pre-ordered since February 16, 2014, on iTunes. Everyone who pre-ordered got a free copy of the singles "Error" and "Sympathy". [4] Erhältlich ist das Album als CD und Download. On December 13, 2013, it was announced that Madeline Juno would perform on the German national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 called Unser Song für Dänemark für den Eurovision Song Contest 2014 where she performs the singles Error and Like Lovers Do . [5] Juno participates on Adel Tawil's tour Lieder-Tour 2014. [6]

Jürgen Udo Bockelmann, better known as Udo Jürgens, was an Austrian-born composer and singer of popular music whose career spanned over 50 years. He won the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 for Austria, composed close to 1,000 songs, and sold over 104 million records. In 2007, he additionally obtained Swiss citizenship. In 2010, he legally changed his name to Udo Jürgens Bockelmann.

"Taken by a Stranger" is a song recorded by German singer Lena for her second studio album Good News (2011), released as a CD single on 22 February 2011 by We Love Music. Gus Seyffert, Nicole Morier and Monica Birkenes wrote the song, while production was handled by Stefan Raab and Reinhard Schaub. Seyffert had originally penned the track for Birkenes to record, but her label rejected it and it was eventually given to Lena. Musically, "Taken by a Stranger" is a 1980s and grufti-influenced electropop song characterized by synthesizer sounds. Lyrically, it revolves around the connection between two strangers. While compared to the works of English band The Cure by one reviewer, other speculated lyrical themes were sadomasochism, psychosexual development, kidnapping and sexual fantasy.
