The X Factor is a Greek television reality music competition, based on the original series in the UK, to find new singing talent. The winner of which receives a recording contract with Sony Music Greece is Haris Antoniou. The third series began airing on ANT1 on 1 October 2010 and ended on 11 February 2011. The show was presented by Sakis Rouvas, with Giorgos Lianos and Maria Sinatsaki hosting the audition shows. The competition is split into several stages: auditions, bootcamp, judges' houses and live shows. Auditions took place throughout July and September 2010, with George Levendis, Giorgos Theofanous, Katerina Gagaki and Nikos Mouratidis returning as judges. Following bootcamp, successful acts were split into four categories: Boys (male soloists aged 16 to 24), Girls (female soloists aged 16 to 24), Over-25s (soloists aged 25 and over) and Groups. The live shows started on 29 October 2010. It is also broadcast abroad via ANT1's international stations.

Selection process

Auditions

The first appeal for auditions occurred on June. The Auditions began in Nicosia on 23 July 2010 and concluded in New York City for the first time in the history of the Greek X Factor, on 12 September 2010.

Bootcamp

The "bootcamp" stage of the competition began on 20 September 2010 at the Goudi Olympic Complex, which is now the site of the ultra-modern Badminton Theater, hosting major theatrical productions and completed on 23 September 2010. This stage of the competition was aired on 22 October 2010. In this stage, the judges decided at each category the top 20 acts and finally the top 8 acts who qualified to the Judges' Houses. Katerina Gagaki will mentor Girls Under 24, George Levendis has the Boys Under 24, Nikos Mouratidis was given the 25s and Over and Giorgos Theofanous the Groups category.

Judges Houses

In the next round the judges reduced their 8 acts to locations around Greece. Nikos Mouratidis decided the 4 acts that will follow him to the live shows in Athens, Katerina Gagaki in Santorini, George Levendis in Ithaca and Giorgos Theofanous in Athens.This stage of the competition aired on 27 October 2010. After the judges, narrowed down the contestants to four each.

Live shows

The live shows began on 29 October 2009, with contestants performing on the Friday night shows and the results being announced later on the same day, and continued through to the finale on 11 February 2011. Like the previous series, the televoters had the chance to vote from the beginning of the show.

Tosi Agapi Pos Na Hathei is the fifth album by Greek singer Natasa Theodoridou. It was released on 14 November 2002 by Sony Music Greece and certified gold in a month, but after two months received platinum certification, selling 40,000 units. The album was in charts for six months and promoted seven singles and was produced and written by Cypriot songwriter Giorgos Theofanous.

The X Factor is the Greek version of The X Factor, a show originating in the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions.

<i>Ellada Eheis Talento</i>

Ellada Eheis Talento is a Greek reality television series and is part of the Got Talent multinational franchise. It premiered in Greece for the first time on 23 March 2007 and ended after 4 seasons on 25 June 2012 on the ANT1. On 1 October 2017 the show came back with the fifth season and for the first time from Skai TV, ended after 2 seasons on 16 December 2018. On 8 January 2022 the show returned again on ANT1.

The first series of the Greek music talent show The X Factor began airing on ANT1 on 4 October 2008 and was won by Loukas Giorkas on 30 January 2009. The show was presented by Sakis Rouvas. It was also broadcast abroad via ANT1's international stations.

The second series of the Greek music talent show The X Factor began airing on ANT1 on 2 October 2009, and was won by Stavros Michalakakos of Limassol (Lemesos), Cyprus on 12 February 2010. The show was presented for a second year by Sakis Rouvas. It was also broadcast abroad via ANT1's international stations. The series featured Eleftheria Eleftheriou and Ivi Adamou who both participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 representing Greece and Cyprus as well as Hovig who represented Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Also the runner up of the series, Nini Shermadini, was one of the Georgian backing vocalists.

Factor X is a Chilean television music competition show, to find new singing talent; the winner of which receives a recording contract with a record label. The first season of the show debuted on March 3, 2011, and will be aired on Thursday and Sunday. The auditions were in January 2011 and where more than 10.000 people arrived throughout the process. It will be hosted by Julián Elfenbein, the same host of the other recent successful talent show Talento Chileno, the Chilean versión of the Got Talent franchise. It will be the second version of this format made in Latin America after the Colombian El factor X shows, but the first to meet the new requirements of the franchise in the level of production. The judges for this season are Zeta Bosio, Karen Doggenweiler and Tito Beltrán, with Nydia Caro as guest judge.

The Voice of Greece is a Greek television talent show created by John de Mol and based on the concept The Voice of Holland. It is part of an international series. It began airing on ANT1 on January 10, 2014, and the final of second season on June 21, 2015. The third season premiered on November 16, 2016, on Skai TV. It also premiered the same day in Cyprus on Sigma TV.

<i>X-Faktor</i> series 5 Season of television series

X-Faktor is a Hungarian television music competition to find new singing talent. The fifth series was broadcast on RTL Klub in 2014. Bence Istenes presented his second series of X-Faktor. Róbert Szikora, Gabi Tóth and Róbert Alföldi all returned to judge the talent for the second time. Gábor Szűcs, a new judge joined them, replacing the original judge Péter Geszti.

X Factor is an Italian television music competition to find new singing talent; the winner receives a € 300,000 recording contract with Sony Music. Before the start of the auditions process it was announced that Morgan and Mika would be confirmed as judges and mentors, whilst Victoria Cabello and Fedez have been chosen for replacing Simona Ventura and Elio in the role; also Alessandro Cattelan returned as host. The eighth season has been airing on Sky Uno since 18 September 2014.

The fourth series of the Greek music talent show The X Factor began airing on Skai TV on 4 April 2016, The show was presented for a second year by Sakis Rouvas. It was also broadcast abroad via SKAI's international stations.

X-Faktor is a Hungarian television music competition to find new singing talent. The sixth series aired on RTL Klub in 2016. Bence Istenes presented his third series of X-Faktor. Gabi Tóth returned as a judge for the third time. Laci Gáspár, Peti Puskás and ByeAlex, joined her, who replaced judges Róbert Alföldi, Róbert Szikora and Gábor Szűcs.

Sakis Rouvas returned to present the main show on Skai TV for the fifth time and with Evagelia Aravani returned on Auditions Shows, Bootcamp, Chair Challenge and in Backstage at the Live Shows. Tamta was the only judge from the 4th series to return. Giorgos Mazonakis, Giorgos Papadopoulos and Babis Stokas are the new judges in the series, replacing George Theofanous, Peggy Zina and Thodoris Marantinis.

The sixth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 26 January 2018, airing on ANT1. The show is based on the United Kingdom BBC Television series Strictly Come Dancing and is part of BBC Worldwide's Dancing with the Stars franchise. The theme song is "It's personal" performed by Swedish indie pop band The Radio Dept.

The first season of Greece's Next Top Model premiered on September 10, 2018 on Star Channel.

The X Factor is a Greek and Cypriot television music competition to find new singing talent. The seventh series began airing on Mega Channel on March 18, 2022. Singer Christos Mastoras returned as judge for his second season, and three new judges joined, singer Mariza Rizou, singer and songwriter Stelios Rokkos and singer and songwriter Michalis Kouinelis, who replaced Giorgos Theofanous, Melina Aslanidou and Michael Tsaousopoulos. The director and actor Andreas Georgiou takes over the presentation of the live shows, who replaced Despina Vandi. Singer Ilias Bogdanos and singer Katerina Lioliou were the backstage-hosts, who replaced Aris Makris. Ilias Psinakis was the guest judge only in the live shows. Nikos Mouratidis was the guest judge only in the live shows since the fourth week.
