The Alan Parsons Project were an English rock band active between 1975 and 1990, whose core membership consisted of Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. They were accompanied by a varying number of session musicians and some relatively consistent band members such as guitarist Ian Bairnson, arranger Andrew Powell, bassist and vocalist David Paton, drummer Stuart Elliott, and vocalists Lenny Zakatek and Chris Rainbow. Parsons was an audio engineer and producer by profession, but also a musician and a composer. A songwriter by profession, Woolfson was also a composer, a pianist, and a singer. Almost all the songs on the Project's albums are credited to "Woolfson/Parsons".
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is a 1995 American slasher film directed by Joe Chappelle and written by Daniel Farrands. The film stars Donald Pleasence in one of his final film appearances. The film also features the first starring role by Paul Rudd and Marianne Hagan. The sixth installment in the Halloween film series, it follows Dr. Sam Loomis coming out of retirement to face Michael Myers once more again. At his aid is Tommy Doyle, a returning character from the original Halloween film. The plot of the film formally introduced the "Curse of Thorn", a mystical symbol that first appeared in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) and revealed in the film to be the source of Michael Myers's immortality and drive to kill.

Halloween is a soundtrack album composed and performed by John Carpenter, featuring the score to the 1978 film Halloween. It was released in Japan in 1979 through Columbia Records and in the USA in 1983 through Varèse Sarabande. An expanded 20th Anniversary Edition was released in 1998 through Varèse Sarabande. In 2018, an LP was released by Mondo Records featuring mono tracks taken from the original 35mm stem of the film and for the first time features the music as originally heard in theaters and on the earliest VHS releases of the film.
Jamie Howarth is an American television and film composer and musical director. Howarth also restores damaged soundtracks from old films. He owns a company for sound restoration, called Plangent Processes. One of its more notable restorations is the soundtrack for the 1958 production of South Pacific, starring Mitzi Gaynor and Rossano Brazzi. The restored version of the track was released in 2006.
Escape from New York is a soundtrack album composed and performed by John Carpenter, featuring the score to the 1981 film Escape from New York.
