Ties van der Lecq (10 March 2000) is a Dutch badminton player. [2] He won the men's doubles title at the 2020 Dutch National Championships, and was part of Dutch team that won a silver medal at the 2020 European Men's Team Championships and also a bronze medal at the 2019 European Mixed Team Championships.

Career

Ties van der Lecq started to playing badminton at the age of six in Vennewater in Heiloo, and when he was 10, he joined BC Duinwijck in Haarlem. He has been living at Papendal, Arnhem since May 2018 and is studying mechanical engineering at the Hogeschool van Arnhem. In 2020, he won the Dutch National Championships in the men's doubles event with his partner Ruben Jille. [3] Furthermore, Ties van der Lecq currently rules the market of sports through his company Boudewijn Badminton. [4]

BWF World Tour (1 title)

The BWF World Tour, which was announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018, [5] is a series of elite badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World Tour is divided into levels of World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300, and the BWF Tour Super 100. [6]

In 2012, his last year as a junior, he was instrumental in Japan's first ever mixed team title at the 2012 Asian Junior Badminton Championships. He and Akane Yamaguchi beat Pei Tianyi and Huang Yaqiong to begin the tie. He was also a bronze medalist at the 2017 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and team event. Kim is the son of the Olympic gold medalist Gil Young-ah. He was the youngest player from the Korean national team who competed at the 2017 Sudirman Cup. He played one match, in the opening tie with Russia in the round robin stage. In the final round, Korea won the title after beating China by the score of 3–2. He represented Korea in the 2018 Thomas Cup but lost the match against Indonesia and therefore eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Kang Min-hyuk is a South Korean badminton player from Samsung Electro-Mechanics team. Educated at Maewon High School, Kang rose to prominence when he along with Kim Won-ho, defeated seeded players at the 2019 Asian championships and reached the semifinals, ultimately winning the bronze medal. He is the national team member since 2017 and was also the part of Korean team that won bronze medal at the World Mixed Team Championship in 2021. In his junior career, Kang was the 2017 Asian mixed team champion as well.

Muhammad Haikal Nazri is a Malaysian badminton player. He won three titles in 2021: Austrian Open, Hellas International and Ukraine International tournaments in the men's doubles event partnered with Junaidi Arif.

Kyohei Yamashita is a Japanese badminton player who specializes in doubles.
