Retrieved September 25, 2016. Tim Philpot, is a lifelong resident of Lexington, Kentucky. In 1971, Tim married Susan Davis, who grew up in Congo, Africa as the daughter of missionaries. Tim and Susan have been married for 44 years. / Tim is currently a Judge of the Fayette Circuit Family Court, involved daily with families in crisis since January 2004. / Tim graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1974. He attended law school at the University of Kentucky and received a J.D. Degree in 1977. He was a trial lawyer for more than 26 years, concentrating on employment law, family law and civil rights cases. / Tim has been an active member of CBMC since 1978, and in 1996, was selected as President of CBMC International. He has spoken in 66 nations, primarily to CBMC groups, Parliament groups, legal groups and business groups. Tim retired from CBMC International in 2003 to return to his legal career full-time.[ better source needed ]
