Titanfall: Assault was a real-time strategy video game in the Titanfall series for mobile platforms in the style of Clash Royale . It was developed by Particle City and Respawn Entertainment from Electronic Arts, published by Nexon, and released for iOS and Android [1] in August 2017. [2] More titles are expected from Nexon, EA and Respawn's 2015 mobile game partnership. [1]

All servers for Titanfall: Assault were shut down on July 30, 2018 and was removed from Google Play one day later on July 31, 2018. [3]

The studio's ownership has changed hands several times over the years, and it became briefly defunct in May 2012, but it was revived by Reynolds along with several original alumni and new partners. Respawn Entertainment, LLC is an American video game development studio founded by Jason West and Vince Zampella. West and Zampella previously co-founded Infinity Ward and created the Call of Duty franchise, where they were responsible for its development until 2010. The studio created the Titanfall series, as well as the free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends. Respawn was acquired by Electronic Arts on December 1, 2017, and developed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was released in November 2019. The studio has developed Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, which was released on 11 December 2020.

2017 saw the release of numerous video games as well as other developments in the video game industry. In Titanfall 2, players control Titans, mecha-style exoskeletons and their pilots, who are agile and equipped with a variety of skills ranging from wall-running to cloaking. Set in a science fiction universe, the single-player campaign follows the story of Jack Cooper, a rifleman from the Frontier Militia, who bonds with his mentor's Titan BT-7274 after his mentor is killed in action. Titanfall: Frontline is a cancelled card battle video game developed by American studio Particle City for Android and iOS devices, as part of the Titanfall franchise.

Titanfall Online was a cancelled free online first person shooter developed by Nexon based on the Titanfall series. The game was created to target the Asian market similar to other "Online" version of games like Call of Duty Online and Battlefield Online. The game had a beta launch in South Korea in 2016 with plans to expand to China and other countries. The game was cancelled and servers shutdown in 2018.

<i>Apex Legends</i> 2019 first-person shooter video game

Apex Legends is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 4, 2019, without any prior announcement or marketing. The Nintendo Switch version will release on March 9, 2021, along with cross-platform play between all supported platforms that was released on October 6, 2020. Electronic Arts has also confirmed ports to iOS and Android devices, set to release sometime by the end of 2022.

Effect and Cause Level from 2016 video game Titanfall 2

"Effect and Cause" is the fifth level in the 2016 video game Titanfall 2, where the designers incorporated a time travel gameplay mechanic, allowing players to travel from a destroyed present to a bustling past. It was created by the senior designer of Titanfall 2, Jake Keating, who was inspired to implement the time travel mechanic in part after watching the History Channel series, Life After People.

Titanfall is a series of video games that mainly feature first-person shooter games. The series was created by Respawn Entertainment and debuted as an Xbox exclusive; it has expanded to other consoles and platforms.
