Torkaman (Persian : تركمن‎, also Romanized as Torkamān; also known as Mālaḵīn)^[1] is a village in Malard Rural District, in the Central District of Malard County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Malard Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Malard County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,479, in 6,965 families. The rural district has 13 villages.

The Central District of Malard County is a district (bakhsh) in Malard County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 291,603, in 77,093 families. The District has two cities: Malard and Safadasht. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Akhtarabad Rural District, Bibi Sakineh Rural District, and Malard Rural District.
