Wiener Linien is the company running most of the public transit network in the city of Vienna, Austria. It is part of the city corporation Wiener Stadtwerke.

The tram network serves most city neighbourhoods, and is the backbone of public transport within the city, albeit supplemented by the inner sections of the Zürich S-Bahn, along with urban trolleybus and bus routes, as well as two funicular railways, one rack railway and passenger boat lines on the river and on the lake. The trams and other city transport modes operate within a fare regime provided by the cantonal public transport authority Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV), which also covers regional rail and bus services.
The Bielefeld Stadtbahn is a metre gauge light rail network in the German city of Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The system does include some segments built to rapid transit standards. It is operated by moBiel, a subsidiary of the Bielefeld municipal authority (Stadtwerke), and integrated in the Westfalentarif transport association. It served 32.77 million passengers in 2012.
The Strasbourg tramway, run by the CTS, is a network of six tramlines, A, B, C, D, E and F that operate in the cities of Strasbourg in Alsace, France, and Kehl in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is one of the few tram networks to cross an international border, along with the trams of Basel and Geneva. The first tramline in Strasbourg, which was originally horse-drawn, opened in 1878. After 1894, when an electric-powered tram system was introduced, a widespread network of tramways was built, including several longer-distance lines on both sides of the Rhine.
The Munich tramway is the tramway network for the city of Munich in Germany. Today it is operated by the municipally owned Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft and is known officially and colloquially as the Tram. Previous operators have included Société Anonyme des Tramways de Munich, the Münchner Trambahn-Aktiengesellschaft, the Städtische Straßenbahnen and the Straßenbahn München.
Graz Hauptbahnhof, abbreviated Graz Hbf, is the main railway station in Graz, the capital of the Austrian federal state Styria. The station is located some 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of the city centre, to which it is connected by tram.
Linz Hauptbahnhof or Linz Central Station is a railway station in Linz, the third largest city in Austria, and capital city of the federal state of Upper Austria. Opened in 1858, the station is the centrepiece of the Linz transport hub. It forms part of the Western Railway, and is also a terminus of the Pyhrn Railway, the Summerauer Railway, and the Linzer Lokalbahn (LILO). The station is owned by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB); train services are operated by the ÖBB and the LILO. With 40,800 passengers daily in 2018/2019, it is the busiest station in Austria outside of Vienna, and the 7th-busiest overall.

The Koralm Railway is an Austrian 127 km-long (79 mi) double-track, electrified, high-speed railway currently under construction. It will connect the cities of Graz and Klagenfurt. Construction started in 2001; the entire railway line is expected to be operational in 2026.

The Nuremberg tramway network is a network of tramways forming part of the public transport system in Nuremberg, a city in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany. The system reached the neighboring city of Fürth from its opening year to almost a century later when construction of the U1 subway line led to the withdrawal of tram service to and within Fürth. During that era and referring to it historically in literature or nostalgic activities, the system was known as “Nürnberg-Fürther Straßenbahn“. For example, a local association dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the tram network as well as old rolling stock calls itself “Freunde der Nürnberg-Fürther Straßenbahn“ The system is planned to cross the municipal boundaries of Nuremberg once more, if and when the extension to Erlangen and from there to Herzogenaurach dubbed "Stadtumlandbahn" opens.
The tram system in Augsburg is the second largest tram system in Bavaria behind Munich, and followed by Nurnberg. The system is 49.8 kilometers long and runs five lines, with two special lines. The city border gets crossed in three places. Line 2 and Line 6 cross into Stadtbergen, and line 6 crosses into Friedberg. The system is operated by Stadtwerke Augsburg (SWA), and integrated into the Augsburger Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (AVV).
The Tramway Museum Graz is a transport museum in the Austrian city of Graz, specialising in the history of the Graz tramway network. It is located in the former tram depot at the Mariatrost terminus of Graz tram route 1.
Trams in Linz is a network of tramways forming the backbone of the urban public transport system in Linz, which is the capital city of the federal state of Upper Austria in Austria.
The Freiburg im Breisgau tramway network is a network of tramways that forms part of the public transport system in Freiburg im Breisgau, a city in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Established in 1901, the network has been operated since its foundation by the company now known as Freiburger Verkehrs, and powered by electricity. The tramway network currently has five lines. The expansion of the tram network since 1980 has served as an example of the "renaissance of the trams" in Germany. As of 2023, 73 trams were available for regular use: 2 of these were high-floored, 36 partial and 35 low-floored. Almost the entirety of the network is located within Freiburg's urban area; only a few metres of the balloon loop at Gundelfinger Straße are located outside the boundary of Gundelfingen to the north of Freiburg. In total, the trams serve 20 out of the 28 districts in Freiburg.
The Essen Stadtbahn is a 19.6-kilometer (12.2 mi) light rail (Stadtbahn) network in Essen and the two neighbouring towns of Mülheim an der Ruhr and Gelsenkirchen in the German state of North Rhine Westphalia. It forms part of the Rhine-Ruhr Stadtbahn.
The Naumburg (Saale) tramway is a tramline forming part of the public transport system in Naumburg (Saale), a city in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. At only 2.9 km (1.8 mi) long, it is the smallest urban tramway in Germany, and one of the smallest in Europe.
The tram network in Olsztyn, Poland, is operated by the city-owned Olsztyn Municipal Transport Company Sp. z o.o. The system contains five lines. The network operates 27 trams, acquired in two orders of 15 and 12, respectively. The rolling stock was manufactured by the Polish company Solaris Bus & Coach and the Turkish company Durmazlar. The current tram system began construction in September 2012, and revenue service began in December 2015. A separate tram system operated from 1907 to 1965, when it was replaced by bus service. The new Olsztyn tram network is one of two networks built in Poland after World War II and the only one to be rebuilt after being dismantled, although its routes do not follow those of the pre-1965 network.
