Trinity North was a provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As of 2011, there were 8,278 eligible voters living within the district. [1]

Contents

The riding was abolished in 2015 into Terra Nova and Bonavista. [2]

When it was abolished, the riding included many of the communities on the north side of Trinity Bay. Clarenville was the major service centre. While the fishery has been depleted, tourism in the Trinity area has been growing steadily.

Includes the communities of Adeytown, Aspey Brook, Brittania, Burgoynes Cove, Butter Cove, Caplin Cove, Champney's East, Champney's West, Clarenville, Clifton, Deep Bight, Dunfield, Elliott's Cove, English Harbour, George's Brook, Gin Cove, Goose Cove, Gooseberry Cove, Harcourt, Hatchet Cove, Hickman's Harbour, Hillview, Hodge's Cove, Ivany's Cove, Lady Cove, Little Heart's Ease, Lockston, Long Beach, Lower Lance Cove, Monroe, Milton, Old Bonaventure, New Bonaventure, Petley, Queen's Cove, Port Rexton, Random Heights, Robinson's Bight, St. Jones Within, Shoal Harbour, Snook's Harbour, Southport, Thorburn Lake, Trinity, Trinity East, Trouty, Waterville, Weybridge.

Hillview-Adeytown is a former local service district and former designated place on the east coast of Newfoundland in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada that existed from 1999 until 2008. It consisted of the village of Hillview on the Southwest Arm of Trinity Bay and the village of Adeytown on the Northwest Arm of Trinity Bay, just south of Clarenville.

Trinity Bight is a large area of the Northwestern portion of Trinity Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The bight contains the communities of New Bonaventure, Old Bonaventure, Trouty, Dunfield, Goose Cove, Trinity, Lockston, Trinity East, Port Rexton, Champney's Arm, Champney's West, Champney's East, and English Harbour. The area is not to be confused with the bay named Trinity Bight in the Strait of Belle Isle, Newfoundland.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Newfoundland and Labrador Route 230</span>

Route 230 is the main Bonavista Peninsula Highway, commencing from Route 1 at Thorburn Lake, about 10-15 kilometres north of Clarenville and proceeding all the way to Bonavista at the end of the Peninsula. The highway also carries the designation of Discovery Trail.

The Bonavista Peninsula is a large peninsula on the east coast of the island of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It consists of 50 incorporated towns/unincorporated communities which have a population of 12,176 as of the 2016 Canadian Census. Bonavista is the largest population centre on the peninsula.
