The first season of Tu cara me suena premiered on Univision on October 4, 2020. [1] The series is the American Spanish-language version of the Endemol format Your Face Sounds Familiar . This season features eight celebrities that compete in a song and dance number while impersonating iconic singers. The season is hosted by Ana Brenda Contreras and Rafael Araneda. The judging panel consists of Angélica Vale, Jesús Navarro, Kany García, and Charytín Goyco. [2]
On October 16, 2020, it was announced that production of the season was suspended due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in its contestants. [3] [4] The season resumed on November 8, 2020. [5] On November 29, 2020, El Dasa was declared the winner of the season. [6] [7]

Blas Cantó Moreno is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence as a member of the Spanish band Auryn. In 2017, he embarked on a solo career. His debut studio album Complicado was released in September 2018, the album peaked at number one on the Spanish Albums Chart. He was going to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, with the song "Universo" but the competition was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He represented Spain instead in Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Voy a quedarme".
¡Mira quién baila!, also known as MQB, is an American Spanish-language reality show that premiered on September 12, 2010, on Univision. The TV series is the Hispanic American version of the British show Strictly Come Dancing and its American adaptation Dancing with the Stars. The show involves celebrities being paired up with professional dancers. Each couple performs ballroom or Latin dances and competes for judges' critiques and audience votes. Whichever couple receives the lowest total amount of judges' critique and fewest audience votes is eliminated until a champion is named at the end.
