Tuesday's Child is a British television production company founded in 2012 by Karen Smith. The company is best known for TV shows such as The Hit List and LEGO Masters .

History

In 2012, Tuesday's Child was founded by television executive Karen Smith, the current managing director. With offices in London and Glasgow, the company specialises in entertainment and popular factual formats. [1] Prior to establishing the company, Smith began her career at This Morning , going on to produce programmes such as Comic Relief Does Fame Academy and The Games . She then co-devised and was the launch Executive Producer of Strictly Come Dancing . Beyond the success of Strictly, she became the Creative Director of BBC Entertainment. Prior to establishing Tuesday's Child, Smith was Joint Managing Director of Shine TV. [2]

The company's first commission was RV Rampage for Travel Channel in 2013 and their first programme to air was Superstar Dogs for Channel 4 in 2014.

The company's name is based on the popular children's rhyme Monday's Child. Referring to the rhyme, Smith says: “I was born on a Tuesday and so were my twins. Tuesday’s Child is full of grace which I think is a great virtue, although as a teenager I would have preferred to have been Monday’s Child!”

Celebrity Juice is a British television comedy panel game broadcast on ITV2 between 24 September 2008 and 15 December 2022. The show was written and presented by Leigh Francis in the role of his alter ego Keith Lemon. The format for the series was first suggested in 2007, after the final series of Francis’s Channel 4 sketch show Bo' Selecta!. ITV approached him to create a show featuring Lemon, and after the success of the five-part series Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour, the channel commissioned Celebrity Juice. Lego Masters is a British reality show in which teams compete to build the best Lego project. During its original run, it was hosted by Melvin Odoom and judged by Lego designer Matthew Ashton and structural engineer Roma Agrawal and Fran Scott. Lego Masters premiered on Channel 4 on 24 August 2017. After a hiatus of four years, the show came back for a Christmas special on 24 December 2022 hosted by Nish Kumar and judged by Ashton and Amy Corbett from the US version of Lego Masters. The programme is produced by Tuesday's Child. The 2022 Christmas special was filmed in Warsaw, on the set of Poland's Lego Masters, and co-produced by Endemol Shine Polska.

Lego Masters is a French reality television show based on the international franchise of the same name that debuted on M6 on 23 December 2020. It is hosted by magician Éric Antoine and is judged by Georg Schmitt and Paulina Aubey.

MasterChef India is an Indian competitive cooking game show franchise based on the Australian show MasterChef Australia, which itself is based on the original British television show MasterChef. MasterChef India – Hindi and Junior Masterchef Swaad Ke Ustaad were produced by Colosceum Media. Endemol Shine India has been producing MasterChef India – Hindi since season 5 onwards through Star India and Sun TV Network with Innovative Film Academy co-producing it for other language versions. Sony Pictures Networks have purchased the rights of the franchise and has been producing the show in all the three languages since then. The show has since been premiered on SonyLIV.
